Awesome! Glad to help.

When you say “hard reboot,” you mean continuing to hold the power button down until the “slide to turn off” prompt goes away and then Apple logo appears, right?

I used to do those a lot but was told it was better to simply “slide to turn off” because the hard reboots are the equivalent of pulling the plug on a running computer...

For FaceID phones, it's the vol-up, vol-down and hold the power button until the apple logo appears - I think that's what you mean. Yeah, I'm just in the habit of doing this after updates. I don't know for sure if it does anything but doesn't hurt.

Have beta 5 on my iPhone 11 Pro and my 2018 iPad Pro. I feel like on both devices I am getting prompted more for my pin code vs it accepting Face ID.

does it say is asking for the pin due to restarting? As that was happening to me many times a day, until B4.

The mail app seems to work again, beta 4 was a disaster on my iPhone XR. Emails were randomly disappearing or not loading.

So is this setting working for anyone? It isn’t for me and wasn’t working in beta 4 either. Submitted feedback.

Anyone else having screen flickering and excess dimming issues in photos, maps, and full screen video?
Maps is more excess dimming when you pull down the sheet to search.

I submitted feedback, but when I try to do a screen recording, the issue goes away.
This is on an iPhone XS.

"Clock widget not updating/time incorrect compared to clock app icon (whilst much better than B4, clocks still go out of sync after a while)"

Widgets not updating and being out of sync with reality has been a problem ever since widgets were first introduced. Hopefully now that they're more front and center they're finally going to fix this issue.

It's especially frustrating for the Weather widget. It would update about half the time, so I ended up removing it, since having no weather information is far better than wrong information.
