YouTube 4K is gone with B6. A12 based Retina iPad mini

Working fine here on my 11 Pro.

Its says upper limit 1080P for everything 4K on the Retina iPad mini using the slightly older YouTube app I was using with b5 that worked, and the one I updated to just now that is 2 days old. I tried the same 4K video.

Check a recent iPhone running iOS 14.0 14b6 if you can.

Hope their not trying to place Upper resolution limits against device category because of battery usage?

I saw another online mention this observation in another site.

That is incorrect. It has been anywhere from 2-7 days later thus far. And Apple almost certainly DOES have a definitive schedule for beta releases....we are just not privy to it. Big difference.

You’re right they do have a definitive schedule but the key is we are not privy to it. So for the public to know, typically no we don’t. Lately the public beta for iOS has come the next day.

I have an iPad running this latest beta but now find when I use messaging that the messages do not send. They also do not sync with my iPhone 11 Max. Is this a known issue? Or is there a setting that I need turn on. This is a WiFi iPad only

Good news: B6 appears to have fixed my restarting issue on the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Updated 4 hours ago, no restarts.

No other issues found which is good.
Phone also seems smoother and more responsive with UI and animations.

Bummer. Got rid of the ability to have a blank home screen.
Yeah, first thing I noticed. Super annoying. I use a blank home page and have a nice Ghost of Tsushima image up, but beta 6 destroyed that ability...hopefully not intentionally and to be corrected.

I still have to test and see if the apple digital av/hdmi adapter functionality was restored as that was broken on iOS 14 beta 5.

Do you know how to rearrange the bottom tabs in the music app? Mine are in a Different order and I can’t get them back to how they were before

They aren’t editable and I don’t think anyone knows why the OP still has the old arrangement except not subscribed to AM possibly. You have the right configuration.

That’s new and I think it’s super useful!

update: not new, apparently (still useful tho 🤡)

I don't think there is a way to rearrange them AFAIK. Although I remember years ago this was possible.
This is just my default layout.

The alert for when it will finish charging has been around for several betas now.

Ah, ok. I have had disabled the optimised battery charging just because my schedule is changing so much daily that it has happened few times I will have to go out and it won’t have changed fully. So apparently installing this beta has re-enabled it and it’s the first time I’m seeing the alert.

Does anyone else have a bug in music where it would get super fast out of nowhere and the only way to stop it is force quit? And it seems like this has only happened when I have it plugged in through the AUX in my car.

It’s not new but i think it only works if you have the beta on your watch and your phone. I could be wrong but it didn’t show up for me until I installed the watch beta

Mine worked with my iPad.
