Hoping the latest update fixes my iPhone 7 Plus screen issue - the screen keeps going unresponsive to touch, requiring a hard reboot to get it back to normal. Very frustrating!

So far, all smooth on my 11 Pro / Verizon, except for a quirk or two others have noted, like AirPods "center_text". Battery life very good so far. All apps I depend on work fine. Keyboard doesn't disappear like on betas 4 & 5.

Totally comfortable running this on my daily driver phone.

I'm still reluctant to install iPadOS 14 betas on my iPad Pro 11", doing mission-critical work on it every day, and it's working fine on 13.6.1. If you're running iPadOS14, how's your experience so far?

This the worst update yet on the Beta. Running it on an Iphone 11 Max Pro and it crashes every 5 mintues. Doesn't matter which app I am using. I have closed all my apps and still same problem. Phone is unusable with this update.

Disappearing folders issue is still there. Worrying that it has not been fixed after 6 betas, starting to think this one will make it right through to the GM.

It appears Spatial Audio has been enabled in this beta.

Hopefully not having a blank home screen is a bug and will be able to have it blank soon.

That huge gap between the dock and bottom row if you use widgets is also bugging me. Feels very un-apple that.

They are obviously insistent that icons should wrap from the top not the bottom (still baffles me that given how big phones are now) but this gap just feels like the kind of lazy design I'd expect to see on android not iOS.

In my experience it was often unable to unlock at usual distances/angles and was more often than not requesting the PIN to unlock FaceID.
Yea in 5 when I did feedback they asked if I had it at arms length. That seemed to help some, but I never had to do that before 5. Seems to be fixed in 6.

mine is actually working too well. It unlocks with any face mask I wear though it doesn’t work with anyone else’s face. Still strange. At first I thought it learned my face with a specific mask but it works with all kind of different masks. White, green, surgical, with or without patterns on it
Mine still won't work with the mask after almost a week; although, people have reported it learning within a day or two. Do I just have to sit then and unlock PIN lock unlock PIN ad nauseum?

As discussed earlier in the thread, and in the front page article....

no it has not been enabled. A setting has been added to disable it in accessiblity on iOS, but we are yet to receive the firmware update to enable it on the AirPods themselves yet.

I don't like the random favourites it chooses to display (my only homekit stuff is Philips Hue bulbs), so I've turned off "show home controls" and added the "home" icon instead. It's an extra tap to open it up but then it shows everything.

Yeah I hope they allow us to edit what controls we want to see like the original icons. The ghost spacing seems very unfinished smh

my left Powerbeats Pro stopped working after b6, and had to reset them 3 times to get them both working together again. I’m also seeing the CENTER_TXT wording when connected. The wording will no doubt get corrected by the time iOS 14 is released, but I’m worried about a lack of any potential firmware updates for them.

I've been wearing the same type of mask for about six months and Face ID has yet to work once with it on. Sure would be nice if it was able to learn or use the top half of my face to unlock.

That aside, I missed my opportunity to screenshot but Maps has a new splash screen mentioning that bicycle directions are now available (along with two other changes I don't recall; I just started biking this year so this was significant for me).

I'm currently downloading the update for my work iPad so I'll grab it from there if I see it again.

same here with the mask. if I have any mask on, even one i wear every day, it doesn't even ask for FACE ID, right to the passcode screen. Maybe people who have it working with the mask on created an alternate appearance?

Is the new DNS feature that apps can use to avoid having to act like a VPN going to stay not working with even personal VPNs?

Even though it stuck on DNS app for DNS settings even when automatic selected (enrolled in beta test for an app) and was reportedly leaky a couple of betas ago I did like being able to choose a different DNS filter/blocker than VPN for both regular VPN and personal VPN. I had hoped when they fixed something in beta 4 or 5 with leaks that eventually the DNS setting would work again with at least personal VPNs (IKev2) but still not happening in this beta. I can still set up with regular DNS app (versus beta test version) as a fake VPN and use with personal VPN, but I have to remove beta and reinstall regular app (or use a different DNS app acting as a VPN).

Perhaps it's because the VPN I use doesn't offer any DNS filtering and has much less stable connectivity as a personal VPN working with a DNS filter that is acting as a regular VPN, but my VPN and DNS apps worked better together when iOS 14 beta was not technically working correctly in beta 3 (I think it was 3).

I hope so as well. I tried to move my apps to have a blank screen and it just reverted back. It’s a bit annoying, I sent Feedback to Apple about it.
