I see. I use my Alarm App on my main device, which is an XS, still on 13.7. The SE was my previous main device, I now use it for work.
I did set an alarm on 22:15 about 5 minutes ago, just for testing and it went off no problem. I've set another for 22:25.

It was about 4 GB for me as well. And it looks like the storage bug is already settling down. It's adjusting itself slowly, but according to my SE, I now have 3 GB free space.
I see.

If Alarm App is working fine on your iPhone SE then i think there is no a reason for me not to install iOS 14 B7 to my iPhone 11.

But i will ask you to take the responsibility if i set an alarm to 5:45 AM and my iPhone 11 doesn’t sound and wake me up and this causes me to go to my work late and get sacked. :D

Just kidding... :D

Thank you for sharing your thoughts btw.

Ehh, whoops :p
No problem, enjoy. And if you installed it, I hope your alarm will ring for you on 5:45 AM. :)

Thank you for your thoughts about iOS 14 B7.

I just started to download it to my iPhone 11. If i am not wrong, it was 4,26 GB.

However, the user named @jfim88 made me confused with her/his post in which she/he states that Alarm App has some problems. Because Alarm App is the most important app for me as it helps me to wake up at 5:45 AM to go to work. :)

If it doesn’t sound then i won’t wake up and will be late for my work. :D

Do you face any problem on Bedtime Alarm App? Do you use it?

The problem is only with Bedtime alarms. The regular alarms sounds without issues.

I’m not sure if this has been posted and if so, my apologies. Is this happening to anyone else? In CC, there’s a row of blank/missing icons. If you’ve seen it, is there a way to get rid of it? I’ve tried to add or remove items to fix it but it’s always there.

mmm, mine does not show it as an empty area 🧐 I use the home app, automations, and scenes constantly throughout the day so it is always full. The home icons change throughout the day depending on time of day and scenes you use at that particular time. Love this feature 😎

So far, it seems to be stable and it runs great on my old SE. It's fast and all apps are working. However, I installed it 2 hours ago, so I can't speak out loud.
I do face one small issue, the storage bug... My SE (16GB model) says I've about 2,16 GB free space, but the Finder in Big Sur says I've 7 GB free space, which makes more sense. But that might, and I hope it will, settle down after it's done indexing (plus the device might need another reboot after a day or so).
Like others said, you can download the public beta profile from Apple's beta portal. Since this is a build that ends with the letter 'b', it pretty safe to install it. Just don't forget to make a back-up.

I have had issues with most 3rd party apps not displaying notifications. I have this with beta 6 and beta 7. Reported it and feedback app shows more that 10 similar reports. Running on iPhone 11.

Other than that, seems pretty stable.

I've noticed that since B7 when you put the screen in 'wiggle mode', there is no "DONE" button to exit 'wiggle mode'. Now, you exit by tapping somewhere NOT on an icon...

I still have a "Done" button on both iPhone and iPad.

Don't know what phone you're on, but I have it on an iPhone X at the top right where the battery icon is.

Optimized battery charging has been out for a while now and I have it on also but it doesn’t work on my phone! This is the first time I saw your screen ever setting that!

Does anyone else have optimized battery charging working?.
Yes works fine once you set it up as per the Apple documentation another poster already shared. Its a bit particular though.
Reported previously on b1 - b7. This was a bit more than before  though.
Good thing because the "reporting police" were just about to knock on your door. Whew you dodged a bullet there :)
Wow ! Thank you for that link. I had no idea that significant locations had to be turned on to work.
How long does it take to mark your home as significant location ? I usually charge my phone at night.
Yeah that stuck me too because I never used those. I wish it would mostly look at your alarm schedule's and charging times that you use verses where you are or have been.

There’s a calculator bug in beta 7. Try this:
1 x 1,00005 =
Only one 0 is displayed no matter how many I enter.

How odd. Must be particular to your model. I'm curious if other people using the same model have the same issue.
6S and if i hold an icon and choose to edit the home screen all i have top right is the plus sign to add a widget. I dont have a Done option anywhere and just press anywhere on the home screen or press the home button to stop editing.

The Xs Max does not have a Home button... and in previous builds, you had to tap the "DONE" button in the upper right corner of the screen to exit 'wiggle' mode. I don't believe I've ever seen a software "DONE" button on a device that has a physical Home button. But your ability to press on an open area of the Home Screen is an interesting development.

I found a bug in beta 7. If you drag an app on top of another to create the app folder, the folder is called ‘folder’ but when changing the folder name the keyboard doesn’t show. If you type where the keyboard should be you get letters. 0328D753-9036-4712-9C98-1D62227EDB49.jpeg
