Feeling fairly good to me, not seeing any issues. Could be the build for GM. Just cos other people have some small bugs, doesn't mean it won't be. Let's not forget that iOS 12 and 13 went to GM with worse than I'm seeing in this thread.

In the Feedback app under the Submitted section. Each bug you submit shows a rough estimate (within bands) of similar reports from other users.

Though I would add that, don't rely on it saying there are no-one reporting the same issue. I know for a fact that some of mine said no others, but people on here and other places said they had the same and reported too.

Thanks mate. Looks like this came on automatically once I updated my iPhone to beta 7. Strange thing is, it also turned hand off on on my iPad running ios 13 too!

You sure you had it turned off before? As handoff has been around for years now.

What did it say in the app? Same temps?

Yea, I posted screenshots earlier in the thread.

Am I the only one still having this issue since the last 2 public betas?

It seems that this is by design now, Home gets 2 rows, with empty placeholders.

Has everyone just forgotten about or given up on the Mail app not fetching new emails? Not seen it mentioned in the remaining issues for weeks now, but it's never been fixed.

That happened to me through iOS 11 & 12, so I bailed and moved to Outlook and Gmail's own apps. I checked out Mail on iOS 13, and it did it there too. So, it's not unique to iOS 14.

Since upgrading to WatchOS7 & IOS14 i only get the activity notifications when i am on wifi, also if i open the activity app on my phone, nobodys progress will update unless im on wifi. Any ideas, is there a setting somewhere i need to change?

News app works again

Still having issues with Apple News here on an iPhone XR.

When using the, “Following” view, it searches for new articles every time after swiping back from one I’ve read. Whilst doing this it scrolls back to top of article stack and duplicates many articles.

it’s a bit of a mess for me really and surprising at this stage of the Beta.

I've just done a test with mine, its connected to gmail with Push enabled although i dont think works when i'm not on wifi and Fetch set to Automatically whatever that means. I left it and the mail app after about 10mins or so changed to show 2 new mails (the test one i sent and another i'd had whilst waiting) and when i went into the app they were both there waiting for me.

Still can’t have a blank Home Screen.

actually, I thought the same thing. I just moved all my apps to a different screen like I had done in the past to give me a blank Home Screen and it worked! I am on 2018 IPP 11. Hopefully this tip helps you out 😀

Yep I'm in too, nice widget!

I got it also. Not sure I’ll keep it as Fantastical does much the same but great concept.

Would be nice if Apple allowed widgets to be created without apps. Widget Wizard doesn’t really need an app associated with it- it pulls data from other apps.

As I'm sure you know, Mail was completely broken in iOS 13 and its never recovered. Apple doesn't seem to know (or seem to care) how to fix it and have just decided to leave it as is apparently. Its a shame because I always preferred the built in mail app over 3rd party options.

Apple has seemingly moved on from fixing it and my advice is to move on from trying to use it. There are decent 3rd party apps (Spark, Outlook, Edison) that do a nice job. I don't find them as nice as the built in app originally was, but I won't go back to using that mess of an app again.

I’m not sure if this has been posted and if so, my apologies. Is this happening to anyone else? In CC, there’s a row of blank/missing icons. If you’ve seen it, is there a way to get rid of it? I’ve tried to add or remove items to fix it but it’s always there.

It was mentioned a few posts up.

The only way to get rid of it, I believe, is to disable the ‘show home controls’ in control centre settings.

Widgets on my iPad are of different sizes now. Haven’t yet checked on my iPhone yet. Sometime back the weather ‘large’ widget was smaller than the other large widget. Now it’s the other way. View attachment 950078

This was also happening to me on my iPad but I did a hard reset and it is now working as it should.

"Show Home Controls" enables two lines for it in the control centre to display whatever it thinks you might be interested in. It's rubbish (to me) so I've toggled it off and re-added the old Home Control icon.

Definitely had it turned off as I haven't ever seen this happen before where when someone accesses a website on my iPad (usually the kids) I get the Siri Suggestion on my iphone.

As soon as I updated to beta 7 I noticed this. Had my wife and I n it been on the devices in the same room at the same time I wouldn't have realised. She told me what site she was on and as soon as clicked the open new tab on safari on my phone, I saw the Siri Suggestion.

I'm not a Fantastical user, the standard Apple Calendar or Outlook work well enough for me. I don't see enough extra in Fantastic to pay the money they charge.
Agreed over the widgets but if needed to set preferences in the initial 'Widget OS' then I can live with it :)
