Hopefully this terrible battery life is fixed with the next beta. At the 50% mark I’m getting 1h30m less usage on my 12 pro max ?
Still have plenty left at the end of day, I’ve gotten spoilt by awesome battery life. ?

I don't think sudden security updates like that affect planned feature updates like 14.5
We’d never see an official release if we could base it off complaints here. Look at literally every single beta/release thread and the stupid amounts of people whinging about battery life.

It is a beta. You have no idea why you are getting less battery life. For all you know it’s related to something they are testing in the beta.
Beta 6 or RC tomorrow? ? seeing how bad this beta is, I’m going with beta 6 tomorrow.

This week is toss up for sure. I’ll think we will get something tomorrow…just not sure Beta vs RC.
Given the App Store outage (https://www.macrumors.com/2021/03/29/apple-app-store-outage/), I would not rule out a late afternoon release today (if everything is back in order).
I don’t think there will be beta 6, but RC1 and even announced prob will be first week of April.
