With iPhone 13’s?
No , with 12 Pro . It's actually working better than with the previous iOS . Just pick up your phone and let it unlock slowly , it can get glitchy if done fast .
EDIT : Sorry , I just saw an article on 9to5 and had not realized the problem was with the iPhone 13.

Don’t think he meant public beta, but actual public.

I think actual public release will be before the end of October.

I was going off what Banglazed posted on this thread. Is it not our then?

Anyone knows how to fix the shortcut bug after upgrading to ios15.

I had a simple shortcut searching for Completed reminder which contains certain text then to remove them.

it worked perfectly under iOS 14, but broke for prompting me “problems” when running it under iOS 15.

could anyone show me any samples or required modifications to make the shortcut to remove completed reminder items working under iOS

the storage occupied by reminder app over 1G, checked iCloud, the data is only around 130M. I deleted the app and data to resync (same as i did I iOS 14 to reclaim the storage), but this trick didn’t work in iOS 15.

I don’t know if the above is a new bug specific to ios15.

I noticed a mention of text notification issues but is anyone having general notification problems on 15.1? I'm on the 13 Pro Max and for instance I just got a WhatsApp notification on my watch, unlocked my phone and the notification is not in the notification centre and there is no red badge on the icon. Same for Words with Friends, Facebook Messenger etc. Some work, some don't.

I wasn't get ANY notifications for the Ring app, removed it, reinstalled and it worked, then stopped working, rebooted phone, started working again etc etc.

Probably

Probably just a bug in the ring app, I would wait for an update. Any chance do you know if the app worked prior on iOS 15? If not, most likely Amazon just has not updated the app with for 15 yet.

Yeah it was working fine up until 15.1 but it's not just Ring, it's multiple apps sadly so it seems quite widespread

I would still probably give it time for apps to be properly updated, or for Apple to fix it in a new beta revision. If you have not already, I would file it in the feedback app. I saw a lot of the same issues in the beta period of iOS 15 but most seemed to have been ironed out by now.

In IOS 15, carplay won't play streaming music apps like amazon music, pandora, etc. It worked fine in IOS 14 of course. Does anyone know if it has been fixed in the 15.1 beta yet?

I just got a new iPhone 13 Pro Max. I also updated to the 15.1 beta and now I keep the following below when I try and play Apple Music in my car. Everything else in apple carplay such as phone calls, podcasts, maps and etc work. It's only apple music that doesn't work. I've tried to reset network settings, delete the car from my phone, delete the phone from my car, reset the infotainment system and nothing works. The only thing I've been able to do to get it to work was erase all settings and then it worked however temporary then stopped. Anybody else having these issues. It's been a little frustrating to say the least. Thanks for everybody reading this. I appreciate it. BTW my car is a Volkswagon ID.4 incase that makes a difference.

I wonder if other apps as well
I had major issues with the Tile app. Here is what I observed;

Background App Refresh disabled, app completely closed from switcher....
It was still using regular battery usage overnight as "Background."
I logged out of the app, battery life is back to normal, no weird activity reported.

I don't recall seeing this prior to iOS 15/15.1 but cannot be sure. There is definitely some weird things going on. Keep a good look out for stuff like this.

IMO, if the app is fully closed, backgrounding is disabled, any background activity from the particular app is malicious.

Yup, explains why some users experiencing significant battery drain. However, I haven’t any.

Glad to hear it bud. Best suggestion for everyone, look at the battery usage graph. It should, in most cases show a trend.

Came back to my phone just now and upon waking the home screen there was a "Diagnostics in flight" notification bubble that had appeared. It gave me the option to Cancel or Submit, or something like that.

Never seen or heard of that before. Anyone else?
