I'm using the iPhone-to-iPhone migration from my 12 Pro Max running 15.1b1, and the 13 Pro actually prompted me to 'continue' in the developer beta program with the new iPhone — it downloaded and installed the 15.1 beta with no issues. Maybe I caught the update server at relatively low loading or something...

That’s interesting…mine did not do that.

Did you install the 15.1 beta OTA on the 'old' iPhone using the developer/public beta profile, or via IPSW? I had the dev beta profile installed, and (as far as I can tell, it's still transferring data) it copied the profile across to do the update OTA.

Did you check the build number when you got the new device? According to Zollotech unboxing video, it showed the build number at 19A341 which is between beta 8 and RC build. Hence, then prompt you to install the release build 19A346. You can confirm this build in the About settings
Build 19A345 came on my 13 Pro Max. Most likely they were just flashing the latest build at the time during manufacturing.

I updated the old phone using the OTA version.

Anyone knows how to fix the shortcut bug after upgrading to ios15.

I had a simple shortcut searching for Completed reminder which contains certain text then to remove them.

it worked perfectly under iOS 14, but broke for prompting me “problems” when running it under iOS 15.

could anyone show me any samples or required modifications to make the shortcut to remove completed reminder items working under iOS 15?

In the first batches of people in Australia and New Zealand, it was confirmed they were hating the RC build and we’re promoted to update.

It looks like Apple put newer build on subsequent phones made, like yours.

Try recreating all the steps that interact with Reminders. Just delete and re-add them even if you end up adding exactly the same steps.

The upgrade often isn't smart enough to fix shortcut problems when interfaces to apps change, even if they have no bearing on the functionality.

Have they fixed the bug that shows contacts' nickname instead of real name in Notification Center??

Remind me how to downgrade back to 15.0. It’s been ages. And do I need to restore from backup again?

Got it. Yes, I can see how one would prefer not to see “Boopsie” pop up when their boss texts them.
Lol. Yes, so how can I report this bug to Apple? I don’t even see anyone discussing this bug at all.

Yes. Every time I’ve had a call, it disconnects CarPlay. I have to unplug and plug back in.
I saw a Reddit post suggesting reset all settings… so CarPlay is fixed but everything else is haywire. Like, I have no access to my HomeKit stuff if I’m not on my wifi.

I don’t use HomeKit. But my cell signal keeps waffling from LTE to 5G like every 10-20 seconds.

Is anyone else unable to get wired CarPlay to start since getting their 13?
My 13 Pro on 5.1 is working correctly in my 21 Subaru Outback. In fact it has cured, for me, a nagging problem where the phone call would not switch over to car's speaker system. Previously when a call came in, I always had to unplug the phone for it to switch back to the car's Bluetooth connection.

I reset all settings which solved that, but now I can’t access HomeKit outside of my wifi.

Edit: Restarting every device that functions as a Home hove resolved that.
