Well, since Monterey doesn't yet have UC, it would be hard to test it!
Haha, well I was expecting the Monterey beta to have included it, until both were released without UC!

I think 15.1 will only have a couple betas and be out by mid October.

I think 15.2 will come November, with UC and ProRes & new emojis.

We know there's a Mac fall event, after which Monterey will come out soon after. I'm just not sure when that's gonna be. I think that Monterey will come out with UC around the same time as 15.2, so that means I think the Mac event will be early November.

Now watch Apple announce the event for 2 weeks time and ruin my entire guess!

Is this what you guys have been talking about when you mention swiping on notifications? Working fine for me now on this new beta.

This is related to T-Mobile. Carrier version has moved to 47.5 (From 47.1). One thing to note and that is that the UC designation that we saw in the iOS 15.0 release version is gone in iOS 15.1 Beta and this current carrier setting. If someone who also uses T-Mobile as their carrier can confirm, then I will appreciate it. Thanks.

Not every notification supports this. Alarm.com doesn’t and neither does Apple Watch full charge. I have to swipe all the way down it up to remove it. Then I have to swipe down from Notification Center just to clear it. It’s annoying

Do you guys still get this happen in app switcher, mainly with settings… it blanks out. Doesn’t show the preview?

I’ve had this since iOS 12 ranging across different models. Done plenty of full restores and set up as new. Nothing has ever fixed it.

this is where someone tells me it’s supposed to be like this.

Ah okay I haven’t tested any other apps just yet

ok cool. Well not cool, but when are they gonna fix this 😆😂

iOS 12 FFS.

They will take their time for sure - Some of the apps that I use been lagging (certain parts of the app constantly running at 25FPS) since iOS 10, and they fixed that with the iOS 15 release...

I don’t have that.

This is your green tint/blank iMessage compose area moment! Be sure to post about it several times a day!

Not sure if this was another issue others have been having but for my issue at least it’s swiping right on the notifications, this used to open the swiped notification in previous iOS. Now in iOS 15 it just brings you to today view.

Does anyone having the storage issue have the System Status Pro app?

This app lets you display all the filesystems on your phone and current disk usage. I'm wondering how the output might differ from a phone where the problem is not taking place, like mine:

(And yes, I have the NEW iPhone 5.)

15.1b1 adds support for MagSafe accessories in Find My. The MagSafe wallet that debuted with the 12 are not compatible, though.

That's because it doesn't have the AirTag hardware in it. The new version does.

How could the previous version be in Find My, when it was just a bit of pleather with a magnet? :)

I don’t think that’s true, unless there’s anyone who’s done a teardown/hands-on and shows it works that way.

Apple’s specific wording in both the presentation and on their website is “It now supports Find My, so you can be notified of your wallet's last known location if it gets separated from your phone.” If it worked like an AirTag and supported Find My Network, why would they specifically say “last known location”?

Also, they are real leather. Not pleather.

It’s likely some limited level of it. Basically there’s something in the 2nd gen wallet, that is not in the first gen, otherwise both would be supported.

Haven’t seen anyone post this either, but you can now easily enable/disable spatial audio head-tracking in control center. Previously you had to go into Accessibility settings.

not getting notification sound on OTPs in 15 official build. I recall same problem some time back in 15 B3/4 but got addressed later.
