Found an interesting bug when running a speed test over cellular that will crash your device and make it reboot on its own. Open the Ookla speed test app over LTE or 5G, run the test. My phone starts locking up and freezing, my cell signal drops to no service from full and a bright pink screen appears before rebooting. First major bug I’ve found since 15.0 beta 1. Anyone else able to reproduce? iPhone 13 pro max iOS 15.2 beta 2

Oh yes totally loving this speed.

Same phone.

But yea .. try a reboot and check for an update for the app.

Anyone having issues with 1X video 4k @60 fps ? It won’t focus at all.

Not seeing blurry rather seeing over saturated when using with indoor light. Makes it blurry but not like yours.
Going to try it with outside light tomorrow.
Hopefully not another software camera issue …

btw. Works just fine if @ 30fps

Tried to recreate on 30 and 24 FPS as well, and couldn’t. IP 12.

Seems like you have a quite a few bugs going on on your phone, might benefit from a restore to clear some things up. Download the B2 IPSW and use finder manually that way. Or if you don’t have time for that just flash the iOS back on, finder, alt click the “check for update button” select the IPSW - apps and data won’t be touched, just reinstalls a fresh copy of the IOS.

@Limeybastid
Did some testing at 4k 30 and 60 fps - did not run into any issues with outside lighting. Checked for anything at far, mid and close.
Below is a sample of each (13PM)

How many of us have installed 15.2 on their daily driver? I’m about to and it’s downloading now! Partially having second thoughts… I’ve not installed a beta since my iPhone 7 days!

It’s been solid for me on my 12, feels like a final release. And a few others on here feel the same. all subjective though right, as you might have issues others don’t. Some battery drain issues with B1, which “seem” to have got better with B2, is a light summary of this thread. Have a read though if your worried ??

I did but reverted back to beta 1 after having cellular issues.

I’m already wondering if I should revert lol. Seeing the potential high CPU usage with Apple Music concerns me but then again, I shouldn’t complain as I knew what I was getting myself into going through the steps etc.

It immediately feels snappier navigating through menus and apps that’s for sure.

I’ll add to the list of people who can’t sms from an iPad after upgrading both devices to the beta.

Dead flat last night. Phones finally settled. ?

Do not disturb is always on during the night. And then these settings are off which constantly use location services which could drain through the night.

These settings off work for me, subjective of course. And if I travel I turn time zone and mobile network search back on.

Hope that helps ??
Curious as to why you keep networking & wireless on. Is there a specific reason?

Also, I know turning off location based alerts renders certain things like location based reminders off, but do you or anybody know if it affects the notify when left behind feature on AirPods Pro or AirTags? Or does that feature work independently of this setting?

I’ll give that a shot later tonight if I can.
All my indoor lights are fluorescent or LED.
Might have an incandescent bulk or two around.
Still doing it. It’s all good, part of the parcel of being on beta. Lol. One also came out black.
Edit. Let’s try with no cheesy screen protector on the lens and report back. 🤣

I only have Emergency Calls & SOS, Find My iPhone, and Networking & Wireless toggled on and I still get left behind notifications. I even get them for my AirPods while I’m at work, every time I leave my desk to go on break.
