Just what I was about to type. Bar the music app in the notes, feels good. Defiantly more polished. Battery solid. We’ve moved forwards with this one, not backwards. ??
Music has mostly been behaving for me, which is surprising because it’s the most inconsistent aspect of the OS for me.

I use Bluetooth for everything; connecting in the car, Echo in the bathroom when I shower, AirPods, etc. More often than not my phone will connect to my head unit and start playing where I last left off but sometimes it’ll make me open Music and hit play. When this happens it has purged the info from now playing so pulling control center down to hit play isn’t an option. Haven’t seen that yet on this beta.

That said, I couldn’t get connected to the Echo this morning. I gave up after trying to manually connect through settings when the usual method of telling Alexa to connect to my phone failed. Probably should have toggled Bluetooth but I was in a hurry.

@gwhizkids @Pearsey

I did a reinstall on my 13PM via ipsw this morning.

Now I have a new issue with the Emergency… Maybe an old issue?

I tested the Emergency SOS this morning after the reinstall and even if I have the 5-Press option turned off, it still works.
Press 5x and the count-down commences.
What am I missing?

Not sure but, man, you are an issue magnet!

The truth is that I have noticed in this beta 4 that after being connected to a Wi-Fi network for a few hours, when I disconnect it connects to mobile data, but it does not have internet. I have to put and remove the airplane mode so that I have internet via data again.
there is also the aforementioned increase in system data storage usage.
the scheduled summary of notifications still malfunctions when it shows only one application. I can only dismiss it by entering the notification or turning off and on the function. If I make the gesture on the notification to show me the option to delete the notification, it takes me to the camera. Also if I have two notifications from the same app, when entering both it is useless to remove it, because it stays there permanently, having to turn off and turn on the programmed summary. however when it shows two different apps, it works as expected: I can dismiss the notifications separately and it also displays an X in the title to dismiss the whole summary. They seem to add features, which never quite work well.

Testing the function of locating the iPhone even when it is off, because my brother with stable ios 15.1 does not work, despite the fact that everything is correctly configured, I have realized that in this beta my iPhone does not locate me, not even one last location comes out.

Sending iMessage to a few people results in SMS message being sent (green instead of blue). All users are using iPhones

I had this issue also when starting a new group but when we kept talking in the group all messages were blue after that. Not sure if this is a bug. I did not report it.

Same here. Also having issue where group messages are being split into individual messages.

Maybe not. Betas aren’t necessarily the complete path to the finished release. Sometimes, certain things are turned off or ignored for a core OS reason then the switch is flipped to fix the other things…
We will see. I have been a beta tester since iOS 7 and what I am saying is based on my experience so far. It usually seems like none of the bugs that aren't fixed in the last beta are actually fixed in the final release. In many cases, the final release is just a build newer than the latest beta, many times it's exactly the same. Furthermore, if a bug hasn't been fixed in a month or two, there is no reason to believe it will be fixed in 5-6 working days between the beta and the final release.

Of course, if it turns out that Beta 4 is not the final one, there is still a chance. Although unlikely that late in the beta cycle. I hope Apple proves me wrong, as it's indeed an annoying bug.

Hi! Does anyone notice that the iPhone keeps falling back from 4G to 3G in this beta? I get no 5G either.
I’m on a full 4G area (even more, this is a 5G area).

Solid 5G signal here; everything loads instantaneously.

Besides Siri using a ton of battery (even with hey Siri turned off) I’m having no other issues.

I definitely have random internet drops in this beta 4 with the data. I have to turn airplane mode on and off for it to work again. It has so many details to polish, that it is difficult to recognize iOS, it seems a constant beta.

Haven't seen any connectivity inconsistencies on my 13 Pro. My 5G is faster and more reliable than my Spectrum Wi-Fi which is funny because I have Spectrum Mobile. Like... the service you provide that uses someone else's network is better than your own network. Might wanna fix that...

My AT&T 5G is much more consistent than my Spectrum Wi-Fi. Seeing intermittent Wi-Fi data drop on wakeup.

The funny thing is that in terms of reception of coverage, it seems that it has improved, but these drops out of nowhere in connection are not normal. I have also noticed that if I do not unlock the phone, it does not connect to known Wi-Fi networks, even though it is within its range of action.

It’s always been this way for me. Spectrum is the only option I have in my area, other than AT&T and they’ll never see another penny from me as long as I live.

I’ll be trying to load a website and it’ll just sit there until I bring down control center and disable Wi-Fi. It’s not even a full second on 5G and it’ll be loaded. Something’s f***y with the Wi-Fi radio in iPhones. We stream everything we watch and never have buffering issues on our 3 Apple TVs.

Did you check if Limit IP Address Tracking is disabled on WiFi? Sometimes a reboot/update iOS will cause them to automatically turn back on
