App Library a bit buggered… rebooted, no better

Edit: A few swipes from home screen back to library and it is now sorted
yeah, so I had 3 home screens before. I use a lot of apps without knowing the names, I just look at the icon. (Yes, this is sometimes a problem when an app changes the icon art, but it's not often. ?) Anyway, the 3rd screen is now missing, and swiping one more time just shows the app library. I rebooted a couple times, swiped both directions, no change. I am pretty annoyed with this.

I’m not sure I could ever go back to a set Home Screen. I have two Siri suggestions widgets below a Fantastical agenda widget for my Home Screen. It changes based on location/time and works really well.

Good call.
Just checked mine and it was on.

I cannot explain why, but I reset my network settings and the phone does feel snappier. I do not know why. UI feels much better. A restart did not do this as I have restarted couple of times after installing the beta. Only after a network settings reset did I see this improvement. Like I said, I cannot explain.

I operate slightly differently.

I have only a handful of apps on the Home Screen that I do use nearly everyday. Another set of 8 is Siri Suggestions that are under spotlight and dynamically updates through the day.

All other minimally used apps (but important and needed) are there but not on Home Screen. I just search them when needed, such as Road Trip for fuel.

Along with installs using IPSW, I’ve also religiously reset network settings after every beta and apart from the big bugs like, AB, TT, I’m quite lucky enough on my 12 not to be experiencing 70/80% of what goes on on here.

And completely agree with your findings, it does make a difference ??

To add another data point, I always install the betas (and full releases) over the air on my iPhone 11*, and have never reset my network settings.

I don't experience any of these issues, either. No stuttering, no slow downs, no battery drains and heating up, no green tint, no issues sending messages etc etc etc.

* My 16GB iPhone 6S has to be upgraded via IPSW as there's not enough memory for an ota install.

Same here. Network settings reset after each beta especially when modem firmware or carrier settings show an updated number.

I have a question, maybe outside of the specific topic of beta 4, but this time too, and I would like to know if it is normal behavior or not. the fact is that I have deactivated the whole topic of suggestions and learnings for siri recommendations, of all apps. Well, in the sampling section of these suggestions, there is an option from the "Apps Library". I have it disabled, but nevertheless I have a folder there with four native apple apps called "Suggestions". I remember that in one of the version of iOS 14, I don't remember correctly if it was 14.2, with this deactivated this folder would disappear. but they updated to 14.3 and it appeared, despite having it deactivated and it continues to this day. At first I thought it would be a bug that would be fixed, but it has not been the case. Someone who does not do this, can confirm if this folder also appears, just in case something is working as it should not in my case.

In this beta, the scheduled summary is loaded, whether it shows one or more applications. It does not let me discard one or all of the notifications, also entering each one does not remove the summary. the only way to remove it was by deactivating the function. each beta breaks this function a little more, at least in my case.

so many of my apps got updates today (18+). I'm always curious when so many get pushed out on one day. Netflix, Instagram, United Air, Delta, Uber, Lyft, Starbucks, OpenTable, Twitter, Outlook...
Right now this is just speculative but there is talk that we might see the RC for 15.2 this week. This may be why so many updates were pushed out today.

Like I said though, it is just a educated guess but also not uncommon for some iOS updates. Usually this is more common on major upgrades like a dot zero update(15.0) but 15.2 could have changed enough things to warrant it.

I've never done this. Maybe today's the day.

This is the same experience I had the first and only time I had it enabled. Completely useless and unnecessary.

I have been having off and on issues and never had gone back and checked this setting.
So far I have had less issues but will keep a close eye on it over the next few days.

Really noticing a difference with this off for now on safari. Instant page loads in comparison. And this is without having any issues before.

Settings > Wi-Fi > Limit IP address tracking.

Thanks @Banglazed great tip ??

How is the battery life using PB4? I am tempted to get on the beta due to the super annoying calendar bug (using exchange cals), but I am using a 12mini and any battery life impact would be most unwelcome…
