Discovered an interesting bug on iPhone 12 Pro Max with Dual SIM. Primary SIM is eSIM with Verizon and secondary SIM is T-Mobile via physical SIM.

The issue is whenever the iPhone is restarted Primary line Verizon will display no bars so line is not useable. Have to go into Cellular settings to turn off the line then turn it on again. Then signal bars show and can use Verizon.

On another iPhone 12 Pro Max with Verizon as eSIM is unaffected and works like it should.

Try in a few hours, it also works for me every now and then, but sometimes it just doesn’t and the trick is just to open the personal hotspot settings on the iPhone, no need to toggle it off and on. Opening the page triggers it. Like it it goes on a timeout or something.

Yeah I did try all sorts of things, even with it off but your MBP still remembers it as a connection in Wi-Fi so when you click on it you get a prompt for it on your phone screen… tried again this morning, still works really well. The connection from the 14 MBP is fast. Intel you would wait a few seconds.

I See you found your way here too. Any need to keep posting the Same stuff?

We’ve got 50 devices and 35 of them have trouble with Apple Music especially when on 5G. So its a mess Apple sets up a lot lately.

Maybe you Check your famous 30 devices to find out 1. They are really iPhones and 2. The don’t show the bug on 5G

There is a lot of repetition on here because people, not you, don’t read the forums first.

I find both your cases really interesting, just minus the hostility, it’s just a forum to share information, no one has to be right, and help each other out ??

Reinstall the RC again, the "Trying to recover data" message no longer appeared and the apps now work as they should. I have noticed that the scheduled digest now seems to work the way it should when displaying notifications from a single app. System data continues to occupy much more than betas 1,2 and 3. There are also ghost messages in telegram, and that yesterday both the app and the system were updated and it does not seem that anything puts an end to this. I honestly don't know what could be happening there. Otherwise, everything seems to be working properly.

Well, for me the news notifications bug is kind of fixed. It works as it should most of the time. When I do get a notification that persists even after tapping on it it at least let’s be clear said notification. So it seems that apple are at least trying.

Just looked on mine and it does have a random stutter when scrolling…almost like there is a delay in changing refresh rates…?

Yes and it was happening only on the main homepage feed. Scrolling in subscription seems pretty fine in my eyes. Need to wait youtube weekly update i guess if they ever feel like this should be fix

Apple Music in CarPlay still goes to Library view by default instead of Now Playing.
Same here .. Also in CarPlay when in my split screen during navigation and playing music when I get a text message or a call it kicks me out of the menu screen to the Apple Music Library screen ..so frustrating ..hard reset of my phone and restarted my head unit didn’t help this started in beta 4 for me

Is it 5G related? I have a feeling it's also when playing lossless music, turned that off now as I was only using that for streaming to my HomePods and probably won't hear the difference anyways.

I thought the update bricked my phone for a second. The screen went black and stayed like that for a couple minutes. When I plugged it into a charger, the apple logo flashed for a split second and went into a spinning wheel. Now it seems it's updating. Strange.

And battery life was definitely over 50%
Same here happened.

Checking my battery settings, it shows usage by messages every hour starting at midnight. I had it on the charger so can't comment on standby drain.

Been doing some quick checking of the Camera app (13PM).
Still seeing the overs-sharpening and tweaking of the color.
Camera (top), Halide (bottom)
Taken using 3x.
Halide is much closer to actual visual.

That’s a huge difference.
Are you sure that none of the new photographic styles were used in the main camera app?

The over sharpening is pretty hefty in some pictures, I agree.
But overall colours seem to be fine most of the time and the vast majority of the pictures gave a fine result with the 13 phones.
The „contrast rich“ photographic style can also bring an improvement, but that’s a matter of personal taste.

Apple Maps crashing upon open today. It was working fine yesterday after updating to the 15.2 RC, so not sure what the problem is. Google Maps working fine.
