dunno but seems a possibility. Would you let us know if the lossless change made a differenceIs it 5G related? I have a feeling it's also when playing lossless music, turned that off now as I was only using that for streaming to my HomePods and probably won't hear the difference anyways.
Yeah, I’m experiencing this too.Has anyone youtube main feed scrolling feel stuttery on 13 pro max ? Im pretty sure this start happening once i updated to 15.2. Youtube version was the same which is the latest one push in appstore
This has been the best iOS 15 version so far for me with battery life. It’s impressive.
Yep me tooYeah, I’m experiencing this too.
Mines off too. Valencia is correct, Rome and Pescara are off.View attachment 1924798Here's a new one.. The timezone times listed for locations in the weather app are incorrect. My local timezone is Australian Eastern daylights savings time..
That’s a huge difference.
Are you sure that none of the new photographic styles were used in the main camera app?
The over sharpening is pretty hefty in some pictures, I agree.
But overall colours seem to be fine most of the time and the vast majority of the pictures gave a fine result with the 13 phones.
The „contrast rich“ photographic style can also bring an improvement, but that’s a matter of personal taste.
Hey bud,This was an indoor shot I took just to test and noticed the colors were all wrong.
AF, No Live, No Raw, No Flash at 3x. Same as I was testing in betas 1-4. Same issue however this color is more “off” in RC.
Here is a set taken at 3x with indoor bright light (indirect sunlight)
Camera on the left, Halide on the right. Very close.

Here is another set, same style of painting taken in medium/low ambient light (indirect sunlight)
Camera on the left, Halide on the right. The Halide is much closer to visual. Also notice the person (center) in the Gondola, the Camera tries to correct the painting. The Halide is actually how it looks.

Hey bud,
Just out of curiosity, was it like this on 15.1.X? Also, are you able to see what the photo's look like using a different device, just for a comparison. Would give a better idea if the issue is one type of device, or 15.2 in general. Also, have you tried disabling the Smart HDR as well as try to change the format to "Most Compatible?" The only thing I can think of is that the phone is trying to make automatic "Corrections" to the photo based on either ambient light, or that for whatever reason, you are seeing "loss." I am sure that you know that any format other than RAW will have some "loss" when the photo is created but "Most Compatible" creates I believe a JPEG file, which has been around for a long time. Would be curious to see if either make a difference.
Best of luck,
Thanks
Thank you for the update first. I know this does not help, have you tried a 3rd party photo app, just to see if it also does the same thing? May just be issues with the stock iOS camera app.On 15.1.x the excessive sharpening was present and I was getting occasional water coloring effect. Another issue was the propensity for the system to use digital zoom instead of the 3x lens.
Started seeing odd issues with the Camera app back on the 15.x betas on my 12 ProMax.
On my OnePlus 9 Pro the photos come out fairly close to the Halide photos on the 13PM.
I suspect you are correct. There is something in the Camera app that is trying to “correct” the photo. In beta 1 you could place the photo in Edit and for some it would remove the auto-sharpening. Various issues have been around since the first 15.0 beta and while they have changed, they haven’t been fixed.

I feel it but at least you can use another app and that it rules out a possible hardware issueOn my iPhone I have Halide, ProCam, and ProCamera.
These three all work well however for my use I have found that Halide is better. Eye of the beholder type of thing.
I had a lot of hope for Camera especially regarding ProRaw. But…
Just hope they fix it.

I See you found your way here too. Any need to keep posting the Same stuff?
We’ve got 50 devices and 35 of them have trouble with Apple Music especially when on 5G. So its a mess Apple sets up a lot lately.
Maybe you Check your famous 30 devices to find out 1. They are really iPhones and 2. The don’t show the bug on 5G
Mines gone back to normal today, so wondering if a server side issue?? or related to the AWS outage
Pretty impressed over here too. Off the charger at 0708 and it's now 1517 and phone is at 89% with an hour and 14 minutes screen on time.Battery is insane on this build-
Sitting at 52% with 5hr 38 mins screen time and with 2hr+ calls.
13 pro. Crazy hope it stays like this.

Here is a quick compare of the Camera.
13PM - Camera at 3x
13PM - Halide at 3x
13PM - ProCam at 3x
1+ 9Pro - Camera at 3.3x
This taken from a range of 3 feet indoor with medium background lighting (sunlight from the left) all with default app/camera settings. Besides the main item, the knob in the upper left difference is interesting. The stock Camera app needs work especially considering the hardware.
