Not mentioning the music app bug. Any Info on that
Hope Apple fixes the annoying issue with the Music app where I find a random song loaded in Now Playing in Control Center. When I connect to CarPlay, the song starts playing. I needed to delete and re-install the app to get the behavior to stop, for a while.

Has anyone had issues with HomeKit Camera thumbnails not updating within the Home app since updating to iOS 15.3 Beta

Curious if it's the iOS beta or the HomePod/audioOS beta that's causing it.

Yep

As a side note: And unfortunately, yet completely unsurprisingly, not one of the bugs I’ve experienced since 15 has been fixed in this. All reported, all ignored it would seem.

My HomeKit camera thumbnails on my iPhone 13 pro have been stuck since Dec 26 ever since updating the 15.3b1. My iPad Pro and Mac mini are on the latest betas but their thumbnails update like normal.

I am getting crushed by Siri in terms of battery drain. Routinely taking 50-60% of my usage.

Was happening on 15.2 and continued into 15.3 beta. Pretty stumped at the root cause, have tried turning off Siri and that didn’t help.

I had this on 15.2 with iPad and iPhone. The only way I fixed it was to reset the cameras and add them back in.

Yep. Mine show a black screen until I click to bring the camera live. After I am done it goes back to a black screen. Reported it but hoping 15.3 B2 fixes it.

Still seeing Messages usage throughout the night. Four hours of 50+ minutes of usage last night.

13 ProMax and Apple Watch.
Not sure but I think it is this beta but the forced AW update is back.

I have AutoUpdate (AW) turned off however when I picked up the AW this morning I had the following message on the AW:
"Update was not installed. Apple Watch was not connected to power, so the software up-date could not be installed."

Have not seen this in a while.

I’m so tempted to move on from 15.1 to fix my volume bug/issue but I’m reluctant in case this beta has the Apple Music battery drain overheating problem like 15.2 did for me in the betas.

I am in the same boat as you. I would honestly wait until at least beta 2. Hopefully, they will post the changelog. If they mention the music bug is fixed, it would be a safer bet to jump. Of course, you will still be going to a beta build, so expect other bugs or issues.

I think I can cope with some others but the AM one seems like a show stopper to me. I use AM and maps together frequently so would rather my iPhone 12 didn’t melt lol.

I’m getting frustrated at the fact my phone ringer volume just jumps randomly to 50% which as an alarm is way too loud..

Makes sense. So far, I had not had that issue on my end but have you tried setting up the bedtime reminder instead of traditional alarm? It still allows a "Wake up alarm" but, if you ask me is better because the tone is not as harsh and starts almost silent, then ramps up if not dismissed from there. It works pretty well on my end.

I’m wondering if it’s tied to some iOS automations I have running each day. My BT is both enabled in the morning and disabled at night. Also Auto rotation of screen is enabled and disabled too so if I’m awake at night on my side I’d not then be annoyed by the screen rotating all the time.

I must say I’ve not used bedtime feature since my iPhone 7 days. My alarms are only set three days a week so I’d likely need to remember to enable or disable each day..

Might turn off all my automations and see if it affects my volumes but I’m sure they aren’t the cause as nothing is volume related.

I would say that is hard to say, wouldn't hurt just to test. The only issues I have ran into regarding sound is that sometimes the notifications come in silent. Screen still lights up and the notification is still displayed on the lock screen, just no sound sometimes. Probably just a 15.1 bug though honestly. As far as only needing the alarm three days a week, the way you have it makes sense, however, if those three days a week are consistent week by week, the bedtime feature will still work, you just set the days that you want it to trigger.

I’ve noticed the silent notifications too! I just thought it was because my Apple Watch was close or something.

Update:
For the heck of it, with all auto updates turned off on the AW, I set it on the charger last night.
This morning I was greeted with "Your watch has been updated..." message.

A clear case of forced update. First I have run into in a while.

Oh boy, haha. I don't have an AW but if they start doing this, it will not look good.

I think the Apple Watch always update automatically. Even if the auto updates are turned off, the watch always updates by itself.
