I was looking for an email from December. The Mail app only opened a blank page all the time. iOS isn’t enjoyable to use anymore. I’ve never had so many issues.

I‘ve had an another issue today. I wasn’t able to swipe to left and right. Neither on the Home Screen nor at the app switcher. I’ve had to do a soft reset. This is getting worse than iOS 13. Apple should check who is working for the operating systems on iOS, macOS and more. It’s really frustrating since iOS 13.

same for me, clean install and significant battery drain during the night
Any rouge apps running in background? (Check SETTINGS > BATTERY. See if there are apps constantly running while you sleep)

For me with drain overnight, this was apps out of nowhere just running non stop. For a while I saw Apple News was running 24/7, I removed that.

Yesterday morning, I saw my % at 96....after seeing my weekly screen report, I saw Google Drive was running 48hrs straight. No idea why. I deleted the app, reinstalled it. Seems to be fine now.

the battery is definitely crap on my iPhone 12 Pro Max but maybe it is also starting to show its age? I charged it before bed, woke up at 7 am and now it is at 75 % by 10:30 am
Yep, can confirm battery is definitely crap on my regular iPhone 12. Probably my biggest complaint about it.

Condition has dropped to 85% over the course of a year, the lowest I can remember achieving on any iPhone, which I assume is at least partially due to wireless charging (still only use official chargers and do my best not to overcharge).

Frustrating times....
13PM
AW
Getting Notifications this morning but not getting any sound or haptics from either device. Just the verbiage.

A reboot of the 13PM didn't help.
A reboot of the AW didn't help.
A hard reboot of the 13PM seems to have fixed the issue.

Not the first time I have seen this under the RC.

Hey bud,

Not sure if this helps but I have the same random audio issue with notifications on 15.1. This is a bug that just won't die, lol.

I have noticed that when this happens, it's because bluetooth has disconnected between the iPhone and the Apple Watch. Go to Settings -> Bluetooth on the iPhone, and force it to reconnect by tapping on the Apple Watch. Then it will work again.

The bug has been here since iOS 15.0 for me.

I’ll give that a try next time it happens. ?

Just went to use Siri to send a text message to one of my contacts and I noticed that when sent from both my watch and phone it replies back to an existing and last text message I received from my phone provider. However if I send an iMessage to a different contact in the same way that works fine. Could anyone else please confirm that sending a text message using Siri also screws up in this way? This is in the U.K. on EE.

Simular here. But it hasn’t effected performance or duration. So I think this battery health read out is a pile of crap.

I really wouldn’t get to worried about it unless your battery is really showing big signs of deterioration. In that case take it to Apple.

Okay... couple of new issues - 13 ProMax.

1. When I am on a call and I put in my AirPods Pro, the call no longer automatically switches to APP. I now have to go in and manually select that option.

2. When I open a Message, click on the Contact icon at the top of the screen, Call is greyed out. Wasn't with the previous betas. Update: checked a bunch more contacts in Messages, iOS and Android. The greyed out Call option is hit or miss. Some are, some not. It's a mix.

Feedback submitted.

The second bug you reported is a shame for a final software in a smartphone. I mean, we’re now having bugs even with the phone feature? I mean, it’s a ****ing phone!!

Let’s hope the final release is a different build that have those issues ironed out

Here are a quick set of SS from Messages Contacts…

Why do ios issues vary so much between users? I don't have an issue with call in contacts. Unsettlingly weird.

Probably hardware issues, software/configuration issues, bad luck or, most likely, a combination of all of the above. Some here seem to have more trouble than others. That could be the factors listed above or a heightened sensitivity to bugs and other irregularities.

It seems your phone has way more issues than anyone else’s. It totally ruins the experience. I recommend you do a clean restore and you not restore from a backup & see if any of the issues persist.

In Messages contacts, "Call" is greyed out if the sender of the message is alphanumeric (for example a company sending you a text telling you "Your order is ready for pickup" or stuff like that).

If only "Video" is greyed out, that contact doesn't have FaceTime activated (or doesn't have an iOS device). Or specifically yesterday, it could be due to the iCloud outage that happened.
