Connect the phone to your computer. It usually Alleviates the system data. This is basically everything "temporary." Logs, cache and other things.
I already did it, I updated it through iTunes also the complete firmware to alleviate possible errors, and it does not eliminate anything. It has decided to put 4Gb of data there, it is not very clear what, and there they continue, occupying space. The worst thing is that it's not the first time it's happened, there are X versions that fill that space with garbage, and others that don't. When I update, it's a lottery in that sense.

There was a workaround for it with Apple Watch, plus it’s a feature which was needed 2 years back more so than now. And of course it doesn’t work on anything older than the 12 series. I’d argue that there’s a lot more iPhone X, xs, xr and 11 owners combined than there are 12 & 13 owners. So it’s still nothing to write home about, and one shouldn’t feel good that apple has finally decided to add a necessary feature in today’s world after 2 years, but still leaving out devices which have the same Face ID hardware.

UC & keyboard brightness isn’t very relevant to those who don’t have an iPad, including me, and it’s about 6 months late.

The Covid vaccination feature is region specific.

120hz works finally as it was advertised after 5 months of launching a phone? Is that really a feature or just making a phone what it was supposed to be? Let’s be honest, if this was Samsung or any other manufacturer taking so much time, everyone would be grilling them to not release a completed product or something on those terms.

What else? Ah, new emojis… You got me there man. Makes the update worth it.

All jokes aside, while it is a bigger update than we initially thought, it’s still nothing mind blowing, in my opinion.
Honestly, I couldn't agree more with you. I have already read people justifying the non-inclusion of unlocking with the mask by the neural engine cores, and I think this excuse is already too stretched, and today I don't know if anyone will continue to believe this story. Basically because if so, it means that unlocking all iPhones older than the 12 series is more insecure, which I doubt has anything to do with it. There are no hardware limitations, so I hope that in beta 2 it will reconsider, but knowing that apple is the only one that can do real savagery without any kind of repercussion, I highly doubt it. Because if Samsung eliminates noise cancellation from the S22 range, we would have to see what will happen in the media and with Apple nothing happens, but then we talk about planned obsolescence as something mystical and hidden, when we have it clearly before our eyes. Apple has become the company of excuses that not even marketing is capable of dealing with. They have been careless in an incredible way, and either they focus again on the short term, or they may get a scare, because their latest decisions are meaningless.

Regarding the covid certificate of the EU, at least in Spain, it must be requested through the Ministry of Health electronically with your digital certificate, and in the process ask for the wallet. Then they will send you the certificate both physically, to print, and you will receive an SMS to your mobile to add it to the Wallet. This is how I had to do it, there is no option to add it directly from the Wallet, and the health app of my autonomous community does not offer this service either.

Universal Control:

"To use over USB, you must trust your Mac on the iPad."

Would that bypass the need of being logged into iCloud?

Here in The Netherlands it gets download to the "corona check" app automatically after logging in with your government ID app (DigiD). It shows up immediately after doing that.

There's no option to request anything now in 15.4 and it adds to the Health app without a problem. But not to Wallet.

UK it loads into wallet from our National Health Service App. This has been available for 6 months, if not longer.

Normally it’s the Yanks that get everything first, arent we lucky 😜😆
It's using the NHS app's wallet facility whereas I believe 15.4 is using the OS/s native abiliity to add them even if the app doesn't support it.

That's how I understand it anyway.

The Reddit thread above currently contains more "doesn't work for me" posts than "thanks! Worked!" ones :)

As for the Yanks getting everything first ... ask them about their banking systems. If they like your conversation they'll probably post you a cheque (or check, as they like to think it's spelt) as payment.

In Spain there is no app as such, since the health competencies are held by the autonomous communities, and each of them has its own app. None of them offer support to add it to the wallet or the health app. In fact, I have been able to add it to the Wallet with the steps I described before, but not in the health app, I don't have a way to put it there.

Also the wording for Moderna for example is weird. No one calls the vaccines by those names
Funny you mention the wording of Moderna, it's the same here in Belgium ;-)

Seeing issues with some 3rd party audio/video apps. Example ESPN and GSE IPTV both crash. ESPN crashes on opening and GSE crashes when you start playing any video.

New issue in 15.4:

Outbound calls cannot be heard by the other party if caller is using AirPods (temporary fix, switch to handsfree and then AirPods again)
I don't even see this in the release notes - by handsfree I'm guessing they mean speakerphone?

I have to double check (and really pay attention this time), but I think Apple finally returned Apple Music's CarPlay behavior back to what it was prior to 15.2: When you plug your phone in and access Apple Music for the first time, it correctly goes to Now Playing instead of the Library screen.
