Reachability is 120 Hz now and the album thumbnail blurring in Photos seems better (but still present). When combined with the PDF scrolling fix, feels like what iOS 15.1 should have been for the 13 series.

Field test got updated as well. I’m digging this update

Edit: apps seem 120 Hz as well, like Apollo.. hmmmm…
Great news what did you mean about apps seem 120hz are apps that before didn’t include it now work smoother?

I was able to upgrade from 15.3 public to 15.4b1 via AT&T 5G earlier today.
Hmm, interesting, thanks for responding.
I was able to download OTA on 5G for all the 15.3 betas (and those prior). It appeared yesterday when I deleted the Developer Profile in order to OTA install the release version of 15.3, and that's when I first had to use wi-fi. Reinstalled the Profile just now, and again see the OTA on wi-fi only. Weird.

just to update, system data occupies 5 Gb more than nothing. I'm starting to get fed up with the game that apple plays with this indicator, and the excessive space that it randomly occupies. Right now this occupies more than my photos xD

Connect the phone to your computer. It usually Alleviates the system data. This is basically everything "temporary." Logs, cache and other things.

I see downloading OTA is back to wi-fi only on my IP13PM. Was reintroduced (that I saw) with the release of 15.3 public.....and now with this beta also. A pain in the proverbial when you have full bars of 5G UC (T-Mobile US)....and can get around 600Mb from where I am now. Oh well, I know, it's a beta...
Maybe carrier imposed? I am on the T-Mobile MAX plan which is supposed to never de-prioritize, but I guess they can control this?
Anyone else see the limitation OTA on wi-fi only?
I was able to update from 15.3 public to 15.4b1 over T-Mobile 5GUC without problems today.

It is easier than one might assume. You just have to scan the QR Code of your certificate with the camera app. HOWEVER it does not let me add the German certificate to the wallet app. It says „not a verified entry“.

Also the wording for Moderna for example is weird. No one calls the vaccines by those names

How did you do this

you spoke WAY too soon. haha
Yeah yeah lol well to be fair I don’t care about the mask thing and uc isn’t in the iPhone so again it’s not much to make me wanna jump on the beta train again lol I want something that isn’t just delayed stuff that should of been out ages ago lol but yeah I was wrong

Nice to know the promotion bug is fixed in 15.4 but let’s be honest it’s embarrassing apple release a phone in September and a major new feature isn’t fully working out the box until march time 6 months later, same with MacBook safari it took 3 months to fix the promotion scrolling, apple needs to up there game with software and hardware

Field test looks the exact same to me. Mind elaborating?

After more testing, enabling the unlock with mask option cannot be set up wearing glasses. If I'm not wearing them, it works, but fails when adding glasses. Maybe the problem is my glasses ?

Don’t know if this has been noted or not, but it looks like the AirPods window has changed.

Adding FaceID with mask is not trivial, if it were it would have been out long ago.

Also.. universal control is here, keyboard brightness for iPad and lots more…
There was a workaround for it with Apple Watch, plus it’s a feature which was needed 2 years back more so than now. And of course it doesn’t work on anything older than the 12 series. I’d argue that there’s a lot more iPhone X, xs, xr and 11 owners combined than there are 12 & 13 owners. So it’s still nothing to write home about, and one shouldn’t feel good that apple has finally decided to add a necessary feature in today’s world after 2 years, but still leaving out devices which have the same Face ID hardware.

UC & keyboard brightness isn’t very relevant to those who don’t have an iPad, including me, and it’s about 6 months late.

The Covid vaccination feature is region specific.

120hz works finally as it was advertised after 5 months of launching a phone? Is that really a feature or just making a phone what it was supposed to be? Let’s be honest, if this was Samsung or any other manufacturer taking so much time, everyone would be grilling them to not release a completed product or something on those terms.

What else? Ah, new emojis… You got me there man. Makes the update worth it.

All jokes aside, while it is a bigger update than we initially thought, it’s still nothing mind blowing, in my opinion.

I’m getting audio dropouts with Apple Music and AirPods…

Also I think the Safari animation when tapping on the address bar has been updated and feels glitchy sometimes. Maybe I just have to get used to it.
