My banking app is Chime and it let me in with my mask on. I’ve been able to initiate Apple Pay from home screen and lock screen with my mask on as well.

My banking app is Chime and it let me in with my mask on. I’ve been able to initiate Apple Pay from home screen and lock screen with my mask on as well.
I’d expect it to work everywhere where you can use Face ID. The setting is under the Face ID settings and there’s no indication it’s tied with a specific use case.
Seems like the delay I have been experiencing when turning on the display on my 13PM has been resolved! It’s been present since day 1.
I'd assume that too but it's Apple so wasn't sure. 15.3 is running really good so I'm weighing whether or not to jump back on the beta train.
Thanks for the feedback. Strange that I definitely had the update button greyed out with the words about needing wi-fi below. Oh well, guess I'll try an update via IPSW and do a network reset. Then wait for b2.....

When I set up FaceID with a mask, it made me take my glasses off for one of my scans, but luckily it’s working just fine with them on.
I noticed with this beta that my storage loads quick again instead of being stuck loading for ages.

It’s so weird when the pandemic first started and I was unlocking my 11 Pro Max everyday with my mask and one day at Popeyes my phone unlocked with my mask on. FaceID must have been learning my face with my mask but then when iOS 14 came out it stopped working.
After you set up Face ID with mask dont you have an option "add glasses"? I do...
Like I said, just open the iPhone camera and hold it over the QR-Code of your vaccination certificate. A link will appear and once you tap it, the health app will open with the option to add it. However, it is pretty useless to me as I can add the vaccinations to the Health app but adding it to the Wallet it’s greyed out cuz it says „only verified entries can be added to the wallet app“ whatever that means
Yes. And you don’t wear the mask when setting up. It takes one scan with glasses and one without. Then you get an option to wear another pair.
All set up fine on my 12 with or without glasses and added an extra pair. @vince085

Right now I'm at work. My Macbook is connected to a WiFi that has lots of firewalled webpages. Most of them make sense, some of them don't.
Anyway, my iPad Pro is not connected to the WiFi right now. It's a cellular model, so the whole Internet works just fine.
Universal Control works flawlessly in this setup. The MBA and the iPP are not connected to the same network but I can control all of my iPad apps from the Macbook.
By the way you can also control the Macbook from the Magic Keyboard.

The option to add a Covid vaccination cert to the Wallet; nothing to do with FaceID and masks.
Same with me: It scans my Swiss cert, adds it to Health but says it's not validated. I've no idea how to get it validated; I assume there needs to be some sort of update for it to recognise the certs from a particular country.
On Twitter there are Italians who managed it and Italians who did not manage it with the "not verified" message. So it seems it's not a county specific thing.
Seems this person on reddit found a solution to the not verified message:
UK it loads into wallet from our National Health Service App. This has been available for 6 months, if not longer.
Normally it’s the Yanks that get everything first, arent we lucky ??
