Given the horsepower these M1 iPads have more, we should be doing stuff like this. Xcode next.
Yep, hopefully we start seeing some iOS 16 leaks soon.Given the horsepower these M1 iPads have more, we should be doing stuff like this. Xcode next.

That’s what people have been saying for at least 2 years and every year its just more of the same with tiny little crumbs like now they give a status bar when transferring files in the files app!!! It’s kind of hilarious how apple either ads stuff thats beyond obvious and calls it a NEW FEATURE or takes stuff away then adds it back later calling it a NEW FEATUREGiven the horsepower these M1 iPads have more, we should be doing stuff like this. Is it happening when on this forum?? Or every site you visit? There is a thread about this site causing heated up devices. I have since installed AdGuard Pro, and now no ads and no heat. All right, I am noticing that both my iPad Pro and my iPhone pro are running hotter than usual after this update, scalding hot to touch, I took my iphone for a Genius Bar appointment and told me my iphone was fine hardware wise after their internal tests but I’m using my iPad Pro today and noticed that it’s burning up and emanating heat more than usual, i wonder if anyone else is noticing this.
It does that when you’re restoring an iCloud backup.
Wasn’t impressed at all, needs that 120hz and mini led sexiness. 🤦♂️That’s mental. How can they get away with that?
Look how blue it is and the light seepage bottom left. None of my retoucher friends have ever bought Apple screens. Just my hairdresser ones for reception. Says it all really. Come on Apple. That screen should be perfect in ever way for that price tag. Sigh.
I hesitate to raise this topic again, but now that it's been part of my life this long, I've grown to love the Safari address/seach bar at the bottom of my iPhone.
Agreed, one thing that has helped the transition for me is the ability to swipe up on the address bar to more effortlessly access tab switching 🔥I hesitate to raise this topic again, but now that it's been part of my life this long, I've grown to love the Safari address/seach bar at the bottom of my iPhone.
No, my $1,000 13 mini + AppleCare + case sits in a drawer doing nothing. iOS 15 is such a disaster I went back to my SE1. It also runs 15 but at least the hardware (handsfree in the car and nav) works. Siri search and syncing old Calendar events, amongst a variety of other stuff, does not. For a truly working solution, my old 6 running ios12 is the reference standard. Been a long time since Apple has released an OS that’s not riddled with bugs. They don’t care as long as the money keeps flowing in. I remember when iOS 14 launched nearly EVERYONE had that keyboard bug in iMessages where it wouldn’t respond for a few seconds when first opening the app. People have short memory spans but this is the new apple now. People don’t really seem to care anymore about quality. But if instagram is down you’d think the apocalypse is upon us. Most peoples phones are nothing more than $1000 texting/social media devices.

If it were me, I would never let a recent expensive phone sit in a drawer not used. I would sell and recoup as much value as I could. Having AppleCare will also help its resale value. No, my $1,000 13 mini + AppleCare + case sits in a drawer doing nothing. iOS 15 is such a disaster I went back to my SE1.

OMG YES! iOS 12 was so damn good and the last time everything just felt like it worked! Everything was so damn buttery smooth across all my devices. Ill never forget getting a new iPad Pro and iPhone XR and feeling like it was the old apple again, when 99 percent of the time stuff just worked. Handy internet hint: You can use your iOS 15 device daily and pretend it's in a drawer.Right. But then you wouldn’t get to complain about it.
I still prefer it at the top - keeps in line with other devices.People generally don’t like change but frequently end up liking the result of change.
One would have thought Apple was changing the default font to comic sans judging by the initial reaction to moving the search bar.
I’d venture a guess there aren’t too many people out there still upset about the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack either.
It eventually fills the entire device until it craps out and you have to nuke your phone. I just had it happen today on my 13. I talked to Apple about it and there looking into it but meantime had me nuke and restore. Here’s my storage right before it went sideways:I think I would not pay attention to the minute by minute fluctuations in this number. Unless you start having trouble loading new apps or downloading media or the like, I don’t think it’s meaningful.
Well, sure you can without much trouble at allToo bad I can’t use them on an iPhone.

Team bottom here as well. And me!!
Swiping on the address bar to open a new tab is awesome. 👌Agreed, one thing that has helped the transition for me is the ability to swipe up on the address bar to more effortlessly access tab switching 🔥
