Can someone check if the option to disable iCloud web access is present?

It was there (in Apple ID > Password & Security) as a non-functional toggle in the iOS 15.4 betas but the feature never got released in the stable 15.4.

Nothing new in this section.

Maybe for you but I am waiting for touch registration fix.
I'm waiting for the GOS patch. ??

LOL you eventually succumbed and went Samsung?kept that under wraps.
Can't do it mate, I've tried using Samsung phones twice, galaxy S4, note 10 plus.

Had a worse experience with the note 10 plus than the S4 I had 10 years ago.

Maybe one day Sammy will get their crap together, until then, I'd rather eat rat poison than use a Sammy phone again. 😬😂

Great looking phones, let down by poor software. 🥹

If that doesn’t work, Craig F said try reinstall using the IPSW,
then check for the bug
Reboot.
Check
Reboot.

Interesting how the IPSW reinstall is the saviour after a OTA update.

Kinda proves a point.
Maybe @Limeybastid can test this theory for us? ??

There are plenty of people on here that would benefit from trying this out:

If you want to test my hypothesis, can I suggest the following with the next update.

1. Install the update OTA
2. Reproduce a bug
3. Reboot
4. Reproduce the same bug
5. Reboot
6. Reproduce the same bug
7. Re-install via ISPW
8. Show bug no longer happens
9. Reboot
10. Show bug no longer happens

In other news the New MBP 14’ is an absolute beautiful machine, the best I've had yet ...

I agree! (I’m typing to you on one right now! :)

Thanks!

Didn’t he say the opposite? Also the only other option once you tried an OTA is to use the IPSW as you can’t OTA twice.
No point proven yet.??‍♂️

Sugar, just realized I got bamboozled by @LFC2020 via post #32, I wasn't aware when originally responding that this thread was IOS 15.5 beta 1 thread which I am not participating in.

Finally fixed that annoying bug where I couldn’t move “three dots” on SlideOver with my trackpad. I like being able to move it left or right with the trackpad… I had to resort to using my hands instead. Glad it’s finally fixed… I tend to use my trackpad a lot.

On a roll! I wonder if this is the final update before iOS 16 beta 1 is out.
Why should it? Each major version has always its own beta profile. As you may have noticed, the current beta profile is labeled as „iOS 15 beta profile“.

So when iOS 16 is released to beta status, there will be an iOS 16 beta profile for those wanting to join the 16 beta.

Besides, there will be several more iOS 15 betas, even after the release of 16b1.
Keep in mind, that 16 won’t be out for public until late September. So more than 5 months away! My bet is iOS 15.5 won’t be the last iteration of iOS 15. we might see 15.6 and maybe even 15.7.

Wow! So exciting! The update turned Bluetooth on! Same as MacOS 15.4 on my laptop.

So happy! I never knew these devices had bluetooth functionality - I'm so glad it got turned on for me.

Edit: Not to feel left out, I emailed Craig F and he replied "hahahahha enjoy your Bluetooth. If only you'd upgraded using the IPSW, you OTA loser".

That the IPSW instal should have got rid of the bug. See the wording change.

So why bother doing an OTA, just save yourself the time and the chance of any bugs from an OTA instal and update using IPSW, if this is the Apple way to fix bugs.

You must be referring to another email response I’m not familiar with. Or you could be confusing an IPSW restore with an update.
In response to my email he mentioned there’s no difference between the two. And that neither one is inherently better than the other.
