iOS 15.5 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I was eating out and struggling to get good reception. Noticed the modem seems less reliable on this beta. T-Mobile 5GUW wouldn’t stay on. Kept going to 5G and then losing signal.
Wow... within minutes of install, how could anyone possibly know if battery performance is worth anything?

What is the exact command you are using? I’ll try it on mine. I’m also running the beta on all of my HomePods.

Tried that with a previous beta but it had no effect.
I just killed Gmail in Mail and put it in Spark.
It should not.
I recently cleaned out one (not mine) and deleting emails (including attachments). All of the photos in Google Photos and on the G-Drive were not affected.
Fix: Stay at home to eat and use Wi-Fi calling ??

Tells me the weather, my meeting schedule and then, “Here’s the latest News…” at which point, you can give it a choice of news outlets to play. I use Apple News.
But it just stops and doesn’t start the news portion.
Just tried it, and surprisingly it works perfectly for me. It started to play the BBC News and I stopped at that point but it did everything you say it should do. As I say, I am running the latest developer beta on my HomePods so maybe that helps?
Same here. All good. Got all the way no probs to the BBC news being read to me.

In my opinion, that’s giving Siri too much credit. It is nothing more than an embarrassment, a not-fit for purpose screw up from the very first minute Apple took it over. It needs scrapping and building from the ground up with a different team that actually has a clue about what they are doing. It also needs to be far more “run on device“ than calling Apple so often. Apparently it calls home for HomeKit requests, that is just crazy and absolutely unnecessary.
And keeping it on topic, unfortunately on the latest version it is still no better.

Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one. I keep a message with a brother and sister. There are like 300 pics in there. I can only delete a couple. The rest never will delete.
Yep. The last modem firmware was better.
"my update" command seems to be working, but Siri is still being a c***. When I ask it to stop or pause, it says, "working on it" and then, "I'm having trouble connecting to the internet" even though it was just playing the music I asked for (after a longer than usual pause to get started).
