Woah, makes one wonder why this version launched as RC the same day as 16 RC. Wonder if they are going to give us that choice option again.

Usually once it goes RC, expect the public within around 1 week or so. If the profiles are no longer available, I would just hang tight in the meantime.

Problem is, Apple is releasing iOS 16 September 12th. So, that makes the window to install iOS 15.7 pretty narrow… And for those with devices compatible with iOS 16, maybe it will be impossible to perform a clean install of 15.7

Is it available on all iOS 15 supported devices are its only for the ones not getting iOS 16? Because if I have the choice, I’d stay on iOS 15 for now.

I managed to find a iOS 15 beta profile. Updated my 13P to 15.7

Running really smooth on my 13P , I'm planning on holding off until 16.1 is released
I will also stay on the upcoming iOS 15.7 at least until 16.1, or maybe even further versions like .2; .3 or even .4
simply because I hear a lot of people complying about battery life and to be honest I don't see any huge changes except lockscreen that make me want to update to the next version of iOS.

I’ve installed this 15.7 update been using for a day now and noticed animation and lot more fluid and fast. Is it just me?
Everybody says so in each update, tired of hearing about it lol. How’s the battery life including overnight?

How can install this now that Apple took down that beta profile website? Can’t find the iOS 15 profile anywhere.

Battery life seems to be on par with 15.6.1, maybe a tiny bit worse but nothing to avoid the update. 13 pro max.

Admittedly, it was not what I was thinking at the time of writing the post but I heard that 15.7 was more of a security patches for devices left behind from iOS 16. It's not meant to be a big change update as it is mostly a security and bugsfix patch but at least they are still supporting older devices.

No battery issues whatsoever on 16, probably more my imagination than anything real but battery life seems even better than before. I think there were some earlier betas that did address some battery issue that did not affect me. But other than that it’s full speed ahead.

Well, as I stated in another topic, I gave a chance to iOS 16 and updated actually. Battery life seems to be okay for me, I expected it to be worse, that it is.
