See that in settings | maps | navigation & guidance you can now set it to use HFP (hands free profile) when available, so in your car it will simulate a phone call to force your car speakers to play navigation guidance.

Hi,
Upgraded to Beta 1 yesterday. Mostly usable which is great
Anyone experiencing issues/bug with the following and/or know how to resolve
1) Calls going straight to voicemail rather than ringing on your phone
2) Unable to dial a number from recent call list - nothing happens
3) Spotlight and App Library search not working - you can type in search box but nothing happens.

Yep. I’m on a 12 mini.
The music just stops at :15 and won’t let you scrub forward or press “play” again or anything.
Non-Dolby tracks play fine.
For #1., Do you have WiFi calling turned on? This happened to me for EVERY iOS 14 beta and the only resolve was turning off WiFi calling.
Trying to copy a link, or navigate between tabs was more cumbersome. Swiping to flip between open tabs now is nice. Plus it looks much cleaner with only having the floating bar at the bottom, and not the navigation bars at both the top and bottom. Of everything in 15, this is my favorite change.
Who is on watchOS 7 and upgraded to iOS15 ?? My messages are blank if you go into the message app on the watch, only my side of the conversation is there the other party that responeded back is blank.. need to report if others have this bug..
Worked fine here. Not all the features are baked in yet but the basic functionality was working.
ipadOS 15 developer beta 1 = bricks both an iPad Air 4/256 and iPad Pro M1/512...they are stuck in an endless crash loop/respring :/

AirPods Pro are not detecting Ear, unless I de activate and activate again and just for a few minutes.

Yes, the notifications are turned on. I did notice that a couple of times when I went back to check, it was turned off, so I'll chalk it up to a beta bug.
That's what it is supposed to do. What do you perceive the problem to be? You can click "use different address" and it will cycle through random emails until you find one that you somewhat like, then you click "continue" and it will create that address which will then be forwarded to your actual personal email. You can delete that newly created address at any time, or create dozens more.
Why do you have to do it "all the time?" Create the address (or addresses) and you are done.

I thought that as well. It was turned off, I also reset Network settings and then turned it off again.
That’s not how it works…spatial audio in Apple Music is simply accessing Dolby Atmos tracks. Evenly balanced tracks no matter where your “hardware” is in relation to your head.

Has anyone successfully tried one of the mic modes on a call? This is what I got repeatedly while using my AirPod Pros, while I was trying to choose "voice isolation" (not "wide spectrum").
I was eager to try the voice-isolation mode because people usually complain of background noise when I'm on my AirPod Pros.
Or is it only available on FaceTime? That would make me sad. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I notice that now Apple Watch music player in controls, will now have the album blurred at back, so if the color of the album changes, all the interface has that glowing color behind the controls.
Looks the same as before just with new map. Can’t post because I only go to home and work and don’t want location shared
