Weather Channel supplies the maps and other info, correct? I thought DarkSky was just about the loacl temps, prediction percentages, the rain graph...
Could be however it is not listed.
The bottom of that app says:

It‘s probably related to iCloud Private Relay. That had massive impact on anything internet related on my test device. Disabling it for my home wifi (where I test) immensely improved things.

I knew that Safari was absolutely murdering my battery, but I stayed off of MacRumors for a day and my battery life was so much better. I still used Safari a ton, but I feel like MacRumors specifically may have something to do with the drain. Would that even make sense?

If the site is running either scripts that don't end, or the ads that are loading are too much, it could. Same goes for other sites as well.
There‘s a topic about this and admins confirming it. Sadly it‘s partially related to the forums software (XenForo). Someone gave a tip that you should tap the 3 dots button in the text compose editor and click the [] symbol to turn off WYSIWYG editor.
I am still having issues with my iMessage syncing from my iphone to my iPad, but i realized there are actually more than 2 places you have to disable iCloud private Relay.
1. Under iCloud
2. Under WiFi - your network click the “i” and turn off private relay
3. Also under that same WiFi SSID turn off private address (this is what is breaking my phone)
Also, every time i restart my phone or iPad i have to go back in and turn off all that crap again.
It has also been messing with my iMessage Send & Receive addressed where sometimes now my texts will send from my icloud email even though i have it set on phone # only which is breaking some of the group chats I’m in.

Private address is just randomizing your Mac (introduced in iOS 14). It has no real effect on your internet connection other than plastering your routers device list with clones and/or outright refusing connection if your router has a Mac filter turned on.
iCloud Private Relay is the culprit most of the time it seems.
Actually, it does exist... Spatialise Stereo will simulate it on non-Dolby Atmos tracks.....

At first try, I can’t really tell much of a difference between the original stereo and Apples “spatialized” version though. May lay in the fact that it isn’t Atmos…which concerns me that Apple is taking non-supported Atmos stereo recordings and changing the mix through software.
Not saying it is bad, but we’ll see if it ends up being “better” than the original mix in any way other than spreading the stereo out (which is all it seems to be doing)
Link works fine for me when I clicked it. Maybe the forum's posting system did something for certain ways of accessing the forum, as all I did was copy and paste the web address into where you compose the reply and it altered it into giving it a title.
New version of iMazing was just released, indicating iOS 15 beta support, however I have not tested it.
I have it off. and off. and off.
Did run into another issue along the same line.
I am running into apps that sometimes load real slow or don't want to open (stuck on opening screen).
I have found if I kill the app and clear out most or all of task manager, the app will load and run normally.
I hope we are not seeing another RAM management issue....
I have a group chat with my 4 kids and hit the FaceTime button in there and it rang all of them just fine... Of course they thought I did it by accident so I had to hit the "ring" button next to their names a couple of times to get them to pick up..
Not seeing "Private Relay" anywhere other than in iCloud. Under the wifi settings I only see "Private Address" which isn't Private Relay.
I listened to a bunch of stereo songs that I know really well on my AirPod Pros…I’m still on the fence. The spatialized version seems to mix the singing into the background more in most that I listened to…and not in a better way IMHO.
I’m guessing Apple really didn’t announce this one as unlike Atmos, they are messing with the original mix without artist/label input. But you could say that for any included separate equalizer on any device. There is a reason it is kind of a hidden “feature”…I usually trust them though when it comes to music and photography enhancements.
Those? Those buttons end up disabling the bar at the top, and I need it to use bolds, italics, insert images etcetera.
Unable to pick different effects in the Clips app, it's just stuck in the AR Spaces effect and cannot be changed. I've tried restarting the app, reinstalling, etc. iPhone 12 Pro. Feedback reported.
