Not sure if this was posted before, but in iOS 15 you can convert your physical SIM to an eSIM.

What does that mean?

Noticed Apple Pay with my Apple Card stopped working on my phone. Luckily for me, I still have the Apple Watch.
Is iOS 15 b1 playing nice with your Apple Watch? I’m just about to jump on the beta train but I need my watch fully functional.

Those concerned about banking apps not working yet in the beta can’t you access your bank via a web browser at least until the app is working? A little more of a hassle maybe but would be temporary. I had to do that on first iOS 14 beta for awhile, no biggie.

IPP 11 2020 and Air Pods Pro
When I open the case on my APP and I get the alert icon on the IPP screen, if the two APP are different battery level the battery percent bounces back and forth netween the two Airpods.

GEEKBENCH: iP 12, have stayed the same as 14.6 official. Which is a positive sign for B1.

I got to say this B1 is amazing for a B1. I don’t even feel like I’m on a beta.

(On my 12, just doing daily stuff, mail, messages, safari, notes, crypto)
Wish I could say the same.
I am having app stability issues and most times on wake up my wifi is connected but no data. Switch to airplane and back or wifi off-on fixes short term.

Just on my 12PM. On the IPP11 all is okay (wifi).

For those upset about the locked grid showing fewer icons, I just finished redoing my iPad for the first time since updating and just like my iPhone, the Siri Suggestions are gold.

I have some cleanup to do with those dock icons showing up in the suggestions but that takes no time at all.

One thing that kinda stumps me is the widget screen off to the left. It makes sense to have one vertical column limit on an iPhone but that leaves a ton of dead space on the iPad. Hope this gets changed.

What the 😳 there is room for at least 12 more apps on the Home Screen 🤦‍♂️

The banking app is used to authorize transactions via a push TAN method. I effectively can‘t send anyone any money or change up any automated payments (e.g. cancel or add new ones). It‘s pretty rare that I have to do this but I‘d hate to get radar‘d with my car and then beg someone to pay the fine or go to a banking branch to do it manually.

While I am not complaining about this as clearly these are some of the issues that happen with Beta cycles, but on Beta 1, battery life is literally moving down while I watch. I have gone from 93% to 2% in under an hour.

Have you been using these forums a lot? there is a issue that is affecting battery life and causing the phone to heat up for some people, they're looking into it.

I’m seeing a lot more bugs in iPadOS than I did on my 12 Pro by a large margin. I typically don’t use it outside of work but I made it a point run it through its paces this weekend. Little things like the Suggestions widgets duplicating apps, broken photo upload on the Facebook website (could be their page too, I don’t spend enough time on Facebook to know or care), Safari crashing when tapping on the address bar, etc.

Okay most of those aren’t little but y’know, nothing debilitating. I’m still swooning over how smooth my phone is lately so it’s kinda hard to be too upset about an OS I hardly use.

Are you still on iOS 15 b1 on your 12 pro? I’m still on the fence about jumping onto the beta on my 12pm.

If it’s not the Macrumors forums, you’ve got some process running crazy. First thing I’d do is check your battery usage by app and see if the culprit suggests itself. Failing that, I’d do a hard reset.

I’ve got my Apple Watch on the current official release. Been working fine. No issues.
I can’t get my messages to work on my watch.. receive them fine, but go into the message app on the watch and they are blank or missing..yours is fine ? I have repaired watch a few times and still don’t work

Like the title says, how stable is beta 1? I remember iOS 14 being pretty stable, even more so than iOS 13. How’s iPadOS rate?

The app needs to be linked to a device and they do that via ancient ways of getting codes by physical post. I‘ll see if they fix this any time soon.
Last few years, when I did it, it was over the phone. Not had to have physical codes in post for 5-6 years or so.
Is private relay and hide my email free? or do you need to have a paid iCloud account?
A paid one, from what was said.
