We have Maps derping all over the place, CarPlay Music crashing and causing the phone to run hot, broken audio for third party camera apps, having to restart to unlock your phone when it gets trapped in notifications…

but let’s devote 3 pages to missing rain droplets.

I no longer hear about missing rain droplets! I have a fairly high tolerance for the minuscule things that annoy people here. But that one was over the top and I chose to say bye-bye.

Couldn’t agree more. In my opinion that was verging on spamming. In all fairness to him though, he did find out the issue and posted the solution.

So, after almost 2 weeks how are people finding the battery life on the first developer beta of iOS 15?
I feel it’s been great, considering it’s the first beta release of a new OS. I’d also expect battery life to be all over the board until September, and to expect the worst. Enjoy when it’s not the worst.

Can you place the today view widgets that haven’t been updated with the new user interface like ESPN anywhere on the iPad home screen?

Disappointing how these big companies
still haven’t updated the design of their widgets. 🤦‍♂️
From what I’ve found, large companies tend to outsource their software work to save money. Companies like TWC, ESPN, and the like have pretty subpar apps and because of their name, they get downloaded a lot. Meanwhile, the one person “company” busts their butt to crack the top 20 apps list just to try and make a buck.

disappointing, sure, but definitely not surprising.

Better bat then 14.6 official and .7 betas.
Better performance for me on my 12 to.

keep pinching myself I’m on beta.
Same here. And I have a brand new battery to play with since I got a new 12PM just before iOS 15 came out, due to a repair guy breaking my display even worse. That one was still at 99% health when I returned it to AT&T. Now I’m at 100% again and loving it. Great battery life for me, even more so after turning off lossless and Dolby audio on cellular. And having ads blocked; MR was a real battery killer for me on 14.7!

Yep, wonder if they’re still looking into it, gone very quiet around here. 👀🤦‍♂️

Does your replacement phone have green tint? 🤔🤦‍♂️😂🥺
Yeah I noticed that too…

lmao Not that I’ve noticed. And I’ve tried to reproduce other member’s steps to see it but I’ve never noticed it, or the purple, on either one of my phones. 🤣

Why all of the SPECULATION about iOS 15 releases here instead of the thread dedicated to that topic?

Anyone seeing wifi issues?

The last couple of days my 12ProMax is having wifi data issues. It shows as connected but data is zero.
A quick off/on via Control Center fixes the issue temporarily.
Reboot and Hard Reboot does not fix the issue.
Resetting the router doesn't either.

Only seeing this on the 12PM.
Figured I'd ask before I filed a report.

btw - LTE and 5G are working great!

I’m having a SUPER weird bug tonight. It’s actually kinda creepy. The Siri Suggestions widget keeps adding itself to my already established widget stack. It keeps coming back like 10-15 minutes (give or take) after I remove it.

Yep, that did it. Good find. Also correct a couple of display issues with single words that split to two lines.

Raindrop animation is a casebook example of FOMO.

For the record, fix from above has no effect on my XR.

this showed how boring iOS 15 really is, nothing really groundbreaking and mostly boring updates, also the new safari at the bottom ruined by the home bar which apple still makes us see

Totally disagree. There are plenty of tweaks and fine tuning of a mature OS. Not really sure what people want, but anyone looking for a customization to the level of Android should stop waiting. It’s not in the design principles of iOS

I’ve had the same issue since day one of the release - reported, but very frustrating!
