Why all of the SPECULATION about iOS 15 releases here instead of the thread dedicated to that topic?

you’ve got a right B in your bonnet about this haven’t you. That’s twice now you’ve pipped up. It was two messages, that didn’t start as speculation just talking about the B2 today. Chill out man. We know where the speculation thread is 👍🏼

Anyone seeing wifi issues?

The last couple of days my 12ProMax is having wifi data issues. It shows as connected but data is zero.
A quick off/on via Control Center fixes the issue temporarily.
Reboot and Hard Reboot does not fix the issue.
Resetting the router doesn't either.

Only seeing this on the 12PM.
Figured I'd ask before I filed a report.

btw - LTE and 5G are working great!

My 12 has only dropped once on WIFI in this beta. It’s been really really good.

LTE has stayed the same. Good.

I feel it’s been great, considering it’s the first beta release of a new OS. I’d also expect battery life to be all over the board until September, and to expect the worst. Enjoy when it’s not the worst.
Thanks. I installed iOS 15 beta 1 Saturday evening. It’s early days for me, but so far the only bug I’ve encountered was twitter crashing, and that’s only happened once.

This feels incredibly stable on my 12 Pro max considering that it’s dev beta 1.

DB1 on my 12 ProMax daily driver with zero issues so far…weird, actually…
Ran the whole iOS 14 PB without any issues last year, some people like to complain about every little thing, the amount of complaints last year about iOS 14 when it was running just fine, was laughable.

Same here. And I have a brand new battery to play with since I got a new 12PM just before iOS 15 came out, due to a repair guy breaking my display even worse. That one was still at 99% health when I returned it to AT&T. Now I’m at 100% again and loving it. Great battery life for me, even more so after turning off lossless and Dolby audio on cellular. And having ads blocked; MR was a real battery killer for me on 14.7!
I’m also having better battery life on iOS 15 beta 1 than I was getting on iOS 14.6. I only installed the beta Saturday evening, but the battery life is definitely much better on my 12 Pro max.

Scheduled fetch in iOS mail app not working for favourite mailboxes on IMAP/ Gmail/ Yahoo accounts which are not supporting Push.

Battery won’t be that good the more time you spend on these forums, drains battery like no tomorrow, recommend installing a content blocker.

Yeah, I encountered that when the beta first came out. I’d only have to browse these forums for 10 minutes and I’d lose a ridiculous amount of battery. And my phone would heat up. I hope they fix it. It has seemed a little better the last few days, but it’s still very noticeable.

Wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for a fix, recommend installing a content blocker, battery life is awesome again and no heat, check out Mozilla Firefox focus, enable it in safari settings under content blockers, safari is way quicker without these pesky battery draining ads.

Has anyone noticed the Camera app to be sluggishly slow? Mine takes at least a few seconds to open and be ready for use and then a delay after hitting the shutter button before the photo is taken and displays in the camera roll.

Camera all well here on my 12 ProMax. Except for the Preserve Settings-Camera Mode which hasn’t worked since IOS 12.xx something.

Pertaining to the raindrops bouncing animation effects in weather app in ios 15 beta 1. I finally found out that under setting , accessibility , display n text size , larger text. At the bottom scroll must be set at default - meaning in the Center in order to activate the rain droplets to appear. And of course iPhone with A12 chip above. Please comments

This worked for me. Thank you ..Droplets effect restored

I’m having a SUPER weird bug tonight. It’s actually kinda creepy. The Siri Suggestions widget keeps adding itself to my already established widget stack. It keeps coming back like 10-15 minutes (give or take) after I remove it.
Not a bug. Long press on your widget stack, tap Edit Stack, turn off Widget Suggestions.

I’ll be honest; the constant posts regarding the bouncing rain drops were getting on my nerves. However! You persisted and! Found the solution, so we’ll done to you. And… Thank you, this has worked for me too. I appreciate you finding and sharing this.

I no longer hear about missing rain droplets! I have a fairly high tolerance for the minuscule things that annoy people here. But that one was over the top and I chose to say bye-bye.

Full disclosure, I was being fairly sarcastic with my comment. All of the things I included there are happening, but I do feel like an animation in an app that we don’t have open all of the time is lower on the list than something that could be safety related, like the CarPlay issues.

Here’s hoping for beta 2 today!

Guys, how’s your experience using iCloude Private Relay? Ok, I get it, it‘s a beta - but I’m experiencing slowness to access sites across the internet. I was visiting websites that trace IP and DNS servers back, and… it was taking forever to resolve the URL and access the sites. I turned it off and the speed access returned to normal.
Then, several websites, including the iOS guides here on MacRumors were also taking a lot of time to receive the first byte and load the whole website. Turning Private Relay off this delay disappears…

I’m sure it’ll get better over time, and I’m sure most of the issues everyone’s been having with Private Relay have to do with server side issues. But for me, for now, I’ve had to turn it off all together. It reminds me of the Guardian Firewall & VPN app, which is an exceptionally fast VPN app, from my experience with it and other apps.
