iOS 15 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Full disclosure, I was being fairly sarcastic with my comment. All of the things I included there are happening, but I do feel like an animation in an app that we don’t have open all of the time is lower on the list than something that could be safety related, like the CarPlay issues.

Here’s hoping for beta 2 today!

And to get it to work, you need your phones text setting so big, your Nan can read it from across the room 😆😂

I’m sure it’ll get better over time, and I’m sure most of the issues everyone’s been having with Private Relay have to do with server side issues. But for me, for now, I’ve had to turn it off all together. It reminds me of the Guardian Firewall & VPN app, which is an exceptionally fast VPN app, from my experience with it and other apps.

I’m having a SUPER weird bug tonight. It’s actually kinda creepy. The Siri Suggestions widget keeps adding itself to my already established widget stack. It keeps coming back like 10-15 minutes (give or take) after I remove it.

Do you have "Widget Suggestions" turned on (long press on the stack, then select "Edit Widget")?

Ah, good...I see others already responded to this. It is a bit disconcerting until you realize what's happening. I've had some good suggestions and some not so good suggestions.

Has anyone noticed the Camera app to be sluggishly slow? Mine takes at least a few seconds to open and be ready for use and then a delay after hitting the shutter button before the photo is taken and displays in the camera roll.

Only samsung Phones do this 🤔 never seen or had shutter lag on any of my iPhones.

Have you only had this issue since the iOS 15 beta update? I am hoping this is a bug but the only time I saw this was when the camera in my old 7+ was dying and needed to be replaced.

Full shut down. Waited a couple of minutes - fixed

Both back up.

Does anyone have Safari crashing when you try to type a web address in? It only happens on my iPad Pro, 5thGen. So I've resorted to using Chrome for now. But it has been crashing since day 1 of the first beta release.

I’ve had this same issue most of the day. Web Pages load excruciatingly slow, I check to make sure Private Relay didn’t turn itself back on, and there’s just no option for it anymore. Close settings, go back, and it’s there (and still off).

I’ve just turned hide IP address, Off, in safari settings, as some people have suggested. All works fine now

Giving them till august to fix the issue, then it’s going to be on for young and old at my local apple store, not leaving the store without making sure the replacement is green 💩free.

If they have to setup 10 iPhone 12 Pro Max, so be it. 😁🕺😂
