Thanks for the screenshots. I’ve never been a fan of animations in weather apps. To me, the animations are great to demo but day-to-day I want to quickly glance at the temperature & conditions. Lightning flashes & rain drops distract from using colors & motion in more meaningful ways like temperature graphs, radar maps, etc. Even in the screenshot, the grey “Partly Cloudy” text almost disappears into the grey clouds floating behind it.

WeatherLine does/did a great job of minimal presentation (especially the widget) - I’ll miss it when it goes offline next year. Same for DarkSky.
Thank you for the kind words, but I didn't provide screenshots. That must have been someone else.

To be clear, I don't really mind weather animations at all. I just prefer my apps to open and close with minimum bother.

Been doing some digging into my 12 ProMax wifi issues.
I am finding I am getting an "WiFiFWTrap" entry in Analytics when I a getting the WiFi data drop issue.

Does anyone know what this is?

I don't know if it's iOS 15 bug. But when charging my iPhone 12 using wireless charger - it charges only to 80 %. Even with "optimized charging" turned off.

Is this ‘record app activity’ a new feature? It’s under the privacy tab, scroll right to the bottom and it’s there. I’ve never seen it before. Sorry if it’s been mention.

I wonder when will beta 2 be out. I need my damn facetime to work lol

Hopefully the FT bug would be fixed but seeing how much they are changing it, don't be surprised if it is still iffy or broken even in B2.

Noticed a few things while using the iOS 15 B1:
  1. While using safari on my iPhone 11 ProMax - When typing a URL Address, sometimes it jumps back to the page you were viewing/working on
  2. Bluetooth is not allowing to change volume while on Podcasts
  3. Odd reminder timers for creating events

Thanks... I'm over the top annoyed that we have to keep posting this... guess some folks just can't be bothered to follow simple rules...

It's new. They briefly mentioned it in the keynote as a way to generate a report of all the apps requesting access over a period of time (up to 7 days)

Anyone else gotten any resprings this beta? I’ve been getting them sporadically but weirdly it doesn’t fully lock my iPhone, it’ll go to the lock screen and allow me to unlock with Face ID. Can’t really complain since I’m not having to put on my passcode when it happens.
Yeah, I get them quite frequently (1 or 2 a day). Seems to be when pulling down from the top after a notification comes in.

I wonder what’s the purpose of these replies? Seems irrelevant to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

The random capitalisation of words is really starting to get to me. It's common words too: All, So, etc.

That’s what happens when you don’t pay attention in the English class 🤦🏻‍♂️

At least they aren't doing the truly cringe-worthy, like using the apostrophe-S , which correctly indicates possession, to indicate plurals... and are properly assigning noun-verb matching for singular/plural situations... like where Apple (as a company) is still a singular noun (i.e., "Apple is" and not "Apple are") despite the fact that multiple people work there... Apple's autocorrect still gets all of that right... so you take your wins where you can find them.
