They changed the „Known Places“ overview in settings -> location services. Now you‘re unable to see all of your recent places but only the last one. Used this as a timetable for time at the office, now it‘s not longer possible. :(

But then what's the use of having just one "recent place". Is it some kind of capability demonstration statement that hey, this iPhone is capable of keeping a record of locations visited by you, but it will not.
They should remove the "Known Places" list altogether then.

I think it’s a bit difficult to see which tab is selected in private browsing in Safari.

This seems to be the only way I can get the search function to work when I look for apps on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Works fine on my ipad but won’t work on the iPhone. Not sure how many others have the same issue but this fixes it for me

So while I am rather annoyed that I'm going to have to plunk down the cash for a serious mesh system, after having already bought a rather serious router earlier in the year (though it's only dual band), I realized last night that some of my HomePod Mini woes were of my own stupidity.

Between how many times they reset themselves and how my times I reset them myself, I forgot to reinstall the beta profile on them. So now they seem to be working as intended, for the first time since I bought them.

How is beta 4 for everyone overall? I know, expect some bugs and issues, but is it overall okay? Debating whether or not to update a production iphone, haha.

Looked okay now for the most part.
The issue has been time with the 15 betas; the longer they run, the more bugs come too the surface. Original working items stop working.

so the HomePod beta helps your issues with them? I am using a couple as a stereo pair with the appleTV in my room but the sounds seems to go "in & out" and rise and fall abnormally. I've reset them and set the stereo pair up numerous times..

Nice new addition to weather app. The maps are getting much better now especially when switching to precipitation. It defaults to next hour and zooms out. If you zoom out further it will go to a 12 hour forecast which makes much more sense than a daily radar.
Agreed that Weather app is better and better, but does anyone else agree that the temp "bar graph' for the upcoming days isn't really intuitive, or am I being dense? Does the gold line indicate daytime temps?

The Plex audio issue is still here.

What issue? The one where it has no audio from Beta 1? I've had no issues since Beta 2.

Universal control. You have to turn off handoff and back on again.

Still not supported on macOS Monterey Beta yet tho, so for now, just a toggle that does nowt.

It's low to high, the same colour gradient that's used on the Apple Watch's Complications

Hmm.. so what is the blank space for?

pretty solid for me. The bugs that bothered me in my B3 comments with safari have been fixed.

connectivity with the new firmware change is now rapid on my 12. Finding Mail pops open and it’s checked mail, fast! Normally this lags randomly and I have to turn WiFi on/off when the phones be

In this case, yes.

After I realized they didn't have the beta provisioning profile on them, I pushed it to them. After the install, they were a functional stereo pair before I went to bed, and again this morning before work. That alone was a record for me, lol.

This one is iPadOS specific but I miss my 6-icon wide layout that’s been gone since June.

Anyone think we will get it back, or if I’m just being dumb and they moved it somewhere I can’t find?

But that makes no sense.
Why would the darker bar be lower AND higher. Daytime usually has the higher temps - the Night has the lower. At least in my neck of the woods.
So what does the gold line represent? (Hence my initial comment on "not intuitive." Folks shouldn't have to discuss what a weather graph is trying to communicate.)

And just for the record, Forecast Bar has become my weather fave.

don't know why people are having so many issues with them moving the search bar to the bottom of Safari. yes, it took me a few weeks to adjust, but from the very beginning I knew that it was much better this way so the frustration re-learning it was worth it lmao. the less you have to reach all around the place, the better. I guess I'll know more in time re: the clutter, but I've been navigating since the beta came out and don't think I've mis-pressed yet. and I have very large hands/fingers lol. we'll see.

my main gripe was refresh and share, and that's been fixed now. very happy.
Still not fully used to it because I‘m a full height scanner on webpages: I glance at everything visible on page load and now the notch isn‘t the only thing that obscures my vision, the new search bar is actually worse from a „covers content“ perspective than the top bar (because content starts below the top bar and only is obstructed by it when you scroll down a page).

You essentially lose „first glance visibility“.

The golden line represents the temperature range for that day. The full width line (greyed out parts below) represent the total temperature range for the visible day list. It‘s so you can quickly glance and get a feel for days that average nicer weather and days that have worse one. The Sunday entry shows 59deg which is the lowest „low“ of all days, thus the colored bar is to the far left (and longer than most because the difference from low to high is one of the biggest ones).

Also it‘s not „golden“, it‘s literally a temperature spectrum. When it gets cold it goes towards blue hues, when it gets warmer it will have a gradient towards red. My watch currently has a green to orange hue because days are warm but nights are colder.

Data seems to be having a lot of trouble on this build. I had two bars on 5G and couldn't get anything to load in Safari or Apollo. Moving around my office, I saw it drop to one bar then switch over to LTE and still nothing would load. I went into Settings and disabled 5G and switched back over to Apollo and everything loaded up normally.

Yeah the audio Plex issue is still here for me. It's been here for all the betas. Certain files have no audio.
