Mail - 12 ProMax - my love/hate app ... well one of them ;)

1 iCloud, 1 Exchange, 3 Gmail
Badge says XX, inside the Unread says XX - all good
Then at the bottom I get a very short "Downloading YY" - nothing else changes.
Go into Unread and after a minute or so I get those "YY" emails, all apparently Unread appearing.
If I go account by account, I get the exact same behavior as I read the unreads in each account.

Feedback filed.

Yep. A lot of people are having this problem. This tweet really sums it up:

And this response is seriously damning against Apple's own design principles:

Look at how busy and cluttered it can get 😂 this was such an unnecessary design fail. There was little wrong with Safari prior to this.

My thoughts. It's very bad UX.

Any idea when they will switch to weekly releases? I imagine it has to be soon as they will only release another 4 or so betas before September.

The golden line represents the temperature range for that day. The full width line (greyed out parts below) represent the total temperature range for the visible day list. It‘s so you can quickly glance and get a feel for days that average nicer weather and days that have worse one. The Sunday entry shows 59deg which is the lowest „low“ of all days, thus the colored bar is to the far left (and longer than most because the difference from low to high is one of the biggest ones).

Also it‘s not „golden“, it‘s literally a temperature spectrum. When it gets cold it goes towards blue hues, when it gets warmer it will have a gradient towards red. My watch currently has a green to orange hue because days are warm but nights are colder.
Thank you! I still don't like it and think it's bad design, but really appreciate your explaining it! (Way more useful than reading folks argue about HSBC.)

Scrolling on Safari looks really weird if you have reduce motion on. Thank God I can set that option off for Safari only.

So while I am rather annoyed that I'm going to have to plunk down the cash for a serious mesh system, after having already bought a rather serious router earlier in the year (though it's only dual band), I realized last night that some of my HomePod Mini woes were of my own stupidity.

Between how many times they reset themselves and how my times I reset them myself, I forgot to reinstall the beta profile on them. So now they seem to be working as intended, for the first time since I bought them.

cool story bro 😆😂

If you look at the responses to the tweets, you’ll see they are both for and against just like we see in this forum. The feedback is being considered for each release. The final one should have a more optimal version.

Is anyone else having this issue with iCloud backup, as you can see my last backup (prior to updating to iOS 15) was only 633mb, now I’m running iOS 15 it says next backup is 10.8Gb.

I’ve changed no settings in there at all.
Thanks. 3A5A6097-28AB-43BD-8CFF-BDB689E9CB66.jpeg

Any chance you use icloud photos? If so, I had the same issue prior where the phone wanted to backup the pictures into the icloud backup. I had to fully log out of icloud completely, then log back in and to icloud and see if it repeats. I think I had to also disable, then re-enable icloud photos.

I really like the weather app - how it has "grown up" in iOS 15 on iPhone. And I can see some good integration from their purchase of Dark Sky.
The one thing I don't understand is the map and "Precipitation" view. Yes, Dark Sky always did have the only radar in the world with a crazy color scheme, and I suppose Apple is making use of this by showing precipitation in blue....
But what's wrong with showing a really clean radar image, and using the colors we are all used to - black for super bad, red for almost super bad, orange for not quite super bad, etc......
Maybe Apple is just trying to be different and move the world forward to show only precipitation maps?? If only they would add this, then I could throw away all my third party weather apps :D. Would make my world much simpler....

No iCloud photos is off and always has been, I’m baffled.

Okay, in that case, I would delete whatever backups you have stored for your phone, may have a couple different instances of backups. Then run the backup manually to see if it is better. Normally, the backups are supposed to be incremental but if something is a miss, it might want to do a full backup. The last time I saw a phone do a full backup again was right after replacing the phone, icloud saw them as backups for 2 different devices, therefor, I had two sets of backups on file.
