Hi guys, i'm asking for a favor. I have some problems with my Airpods Pro and the audio quality in the outcoming calls. I've read that with iOS 15 there's a new option:

What you’re looking for is another feature added in iOS 15 called Mic Modes. There are three: Standard (how the microphone has worked for years), Voice Isolation (filters out the background noice so the person you’re calling isn’t disturbed by your neighbor moving their lawn; it’s what’s you’re looking for) and Wide Spectrum (let’s put the entire soundscape; useful for things like calling someone from a concert so they can clearly hear the music).
It’s not what comes with this beta firmware. It requires an A12 Bionic processor or newer (iPhone XR/XS or newer).

I saw that some people having this sorted it by doing ‘Reset all settings’. It was in a thread on Reddit

Note that these are only for FaceTime. I wish they could apply to calls but no sign of that.

So, I downloaded beta 4 onto my iPad and iPhone, and they work reasonably well for what they are...which, to my mind are about halfway to release candidate builds. Are we hoping for a September general release?

Battery life on this beta has been AWFUL. 1, 2 & 3 were fine. 4 is NOT GOOD. Anyone have the same thing?

This is really annoying. This would be a killing feature if available in voice calls also.

Actually, they work for me on Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

you may want to check for an app that is hogging the battery. No issues on my test phone (12 Pro).

While I wouldn't call it "bad", it has been very hit and miss this beta. I can do the same types of activities day to day and get wildly different results.

Agree, also getting the odd day here and there with more battery drain with the same usage pattern. 🤔
