iOS 15 Beta 7 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Universal Clipboard (iPadOS -> MacOS) failed when I tried to use it immediately after updating iPadOS 15.0 pb6 -> pb7. This was a repeatable failure - I tested it multiple times from different iPad apps. After shutting down and restarting the iPad, it works as expected. Reported to Apple.

Yes! The Activity animation notifications have been the worst for me.

And still no delete all button. I cannot believe Apple thinks this is user friendly AT ALL. The worst is when you miss and it unselects everything and u need to start all over selecting each freaking photo one by one. At least let us swipe down to mass select like .. idk .. in the photos app?

Battery life seems better for me. 11 pro with battery life at 86%

This morning at 8am i left my fully charged iPhone 11, running the current beta at home. Just a few minutes ago, i found the phone to be empty after i returned home from work. And during the day no app (besides Siri sometimes) has been running in the background.

Ar least the graphs leading down are kind of symetrical

If you see that, its “restart your phone” time! And if it continues, do a hard restart.

Them removing the „x more“ info on stacked notifications really starts to annoy me. Was such a useful feature to quickly check the amount of unread texts in a chat thread or mail…

Reported feedback for it a while ago but hasn‘t been acknowledged in any form yet.

I did that and yes, it does stop the News app running in the background. But when I launch the News app again, it will continue running in the background until I reboot the phone again - doesn't need a hard reboot, just the normal one.

Have you experienced the same after using News after a hard reboot?

Not seeing this after I open the News app.

Just looked in App Store to see if my 12PM was auto updating.
Nope.
Has pending apps as far back as Aug 20. 19 in total.

Triggered it manually. See how it goes.

I got the same for reporting messages storage not matching which makes no sense at all! If they review apps like that, no wonder

I use Messages in iCloud so that's just weird. You'd think it'd be a cloud issue. Hmm

Check your background apps refresh. Some users reporting all apps and this setting turned back on after B7 update. Might need configuring again.

It’s happening in general with sites with forums. Example: MacRumors, Crackberry forums, Christian forums etc.

Saw a MASSIVE battery life improvement after downloading podcast episodes and music last night so that I wouldn’t have to stream at work on a horrible connection. Very pleased. Phone sat on my desk for almost 3 1/2 hours before I started listening. Took it off the charger at 5:15 and I’m at 72% at 2:51pm. Usually I’m at around 35% right now. Lmao

Does the Coinbase Pro app make your device hot? The regular Coinbase app runs fine. Whenever I fire up the pro app, after a couple minutes my phone starts to get warm. Been using the webpage instead.
