Updated to the latest build after setting up my iPhone 13 Pro. Only two issues really stand out thus far:
  1. Phone is slow to wake, or the lock screen is somewhat reluctant to fade in from black smoothly.
  2. Long pressing or haptic touching on notifications and tappable elements is slow to respond—resulting in a fair number of registered “normal” taps. This can jump you into apps, or to new webpages, accidentally.

In focus bedtime mode one contact in particular can still get through the focus mode despite not being listed as allowed. Same contact cannot get through work mode. Have tried deleting the focus and making it again, deleting the contact and make a new contact card. Doesn’t work. Very frustratingly still get the notifications.

Folks, I’ve just deleted the beta profile in my kid’s iPad after receiving the iOS 15 RC. Surprisingly, after the restart, a prompt to update to iOS15 just appeared again. Is it an incremental update over the 15 beta RC?

Not sure how true, saying 15.01 is set for release tomorrow. (Reddit r/apple)
Wouldn’t be surprised, we know Apple said they were investigating the Apple Watch issue on iPhone 13. I think it’s likely only going to fix that, if so, might only come out for the iPhone 13’s.

If I ask Siri to call someone the voice is very robotic, if I use other Siri functions its perfectly fine. Most odd.

Location based automatic switching to Work focus doesn’t seem to be working for me. I’ve set up two locations and set it to switch automatically, but phone never seems to.

Anyone else experiencing this?

They haven’t, but the Reddit thing just makes sense we will get the below fix asap and so a 15.0.1 today makes sense to me. I’m not agreeing it’s deffo today, just that I wouldn’t be surprised

Edit: this is the source Reddit is quoting, which is not one I know about.

Not saying you did, just asking a question, never seen apple announce minor software updates release dates on social media before, or am I wrong? 🤔

Check my updated edit.

Apple haven’t announced it (nowhere did it say Apple announced it), like everything else, it’s from anonymous sources.
Yep, all good, someone in a different part of the forum said apple posted on Reddit that a software update is coming tomorrow, didn’t sound right, thanks for clearing it up.

I suspected that they abbreviated the situation, or misunderstood it. ?

Yep, There is no misunderstanding the battery life you’re going to get on the 13 pro max.

Still got 40% left, with 120hz turned on 24/7 😳👇🔋👑

All day night mode or only automatic?

My XS Max has reload and RAM issues since iOS 15. Some apps are freezing or suddenly reloading. Like Instagram or Safari. But I’m happy to get a 13 Pro Max this year.
