iOS 15 RC ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

If I ad a widget other widget random not work. Stay blank until I reboot. Is this an iOS 15 problem. I have this since many Betas.

It requires an app update from MS. iOS 15 SDK app updates were only allowed to be submitted less than 24 hours ago.

Apple will then open the floodgates and allow them into the App Store between now and Monday. So, assuming MS have submitted it, should see the fix by Monday.

Multitasking still broken. If you have any app on swipe out from either side, then open the app by itself, it removes it from multitasking.

Example:
Open Safari and place messages as the slide out multitasking app.
Swipe up and return to the desktop.
Open Messages.
Go back to the desktop.
Return to Safari and try to swipe messages out… Gone.

Do you have a video of this? I’m having a hard time replicating or understanding the issue
 
Does anyone else keep getting an erase button over an url when using multiple tabs on iPad Safari with the new compact tab bar?
Also, is it just me or are widget stacks in the side bar often broken and cannot be scrolled through?
 
While I said before that I wasn’t noticing any bugs, I have continued to have a lot of battery draining on 11 Pro. Noticed this on beta 7 and 8, but figured it should be resolved in RC. Safari seems especially bad.

Anyone else noticing this?
 
Is anyone running into an issue with the Slideover multitasking with messages on iPad? When switching apps slideover seems to not persist the conversation I was in on the messages app. Brings me to the main screen with all my message threads and I’m unable to return to the previous conversation unless I select another conversation first. Kinda hard to explain in words, but if you use messages and slideover you will notice it. 😅

The issue is that in iPadOS 14 safari kept the bookmark menu button shown on the top which meant you could easily revert back to full screen.

in iPadOS 15, you have to got back 2-3 menus before that menu button is shown.

Ohhh you’re talking about the iPad. Yeah that’s silly they made it take extra steps. I don’t use it too much on my iPad so I didn’t even notice.

Anyone have any issues with bluetooth calling? This only started recently, occasionally, when I am in a call, I will hear a loud noise, almost like a rock chip in a windshield on the highway. Don't think I have had this issue prior to the 8th beta. I have already tried removing the bluetooth device and network reset, unfortunately, I can't fully seem to remove the bluetooth device due to some other bug. Will probably format the phone and start over once 15 goes public on Monday but thought I would ask because it is a weird noise.

I’m also having this bug and reported it in feedback. Super annoying.
