Hahaha, ok. Because I said I think iOS15 is underwhelming I’m filled with hatred. Got it.

No lol. As I have already said, it’s not what you said, it’s how you said it, the tone. I’m guessing you didn’t read that post properly if you think it’s cos you said iOS 15 is underwhelming. 😂

I did an "Erase of all contents and settings" and a clean setup without restoring the backup. Made a world of difference. On my iPad Pro 10.5, it ran out of battery life mid-afternoon, now at 60% at bedtime.
Might do the same on my iPhone, when I have the time. But it's a huge PITA, since I have about 400 apps on there.
This is also a good time to do house cleaning.
Helpful:

1. A content caching Mac in your house.
2. Apple Configurator 2 to export and App Listing for future reference.

I ended up doing a full restore with the ipsw and didn’t restore from iCloud backup. That’s what I normally do anyway and it’s better than ever
