It has happened. Fairly recently in fact. Of course I don’t remember when.

I’d say that’s a possibility.

Or it’s already there and they just have to do something server-side to activate. Since the dialog box to turn it on has been present on the Mac for awhile, I lean towards that happening…about 1 second before the Winter Solstice on 12/21 at 10:58am ET.

Or a new build for public release enables it maybe. I am betting it’s in 15.2 in the same way as it’s in Monterey 12.1

And if it does appear, it’ll definitely be “in beta”…

Too soon to tell. Not been out that long.

Well, it’s tagged as such on Monterey’s hidden menu for it.

The hidden menu is now more hidden. I used to be able to get it to appear simply by typing “universal control” into the Monterey Settings search box. Now, it does not appear most of the time. Occasionally it will, but only after a few minutes of waiting.

I’m curious about why it varies (appear or not). Is it being controlled server side or just buggy?

The 15.2 RC has been great on my iPhone 12 Pro, but I’m still having that streaming Apple Music issue some people have reported with songs just like freezing up, stopping.

Same here. I was hoping it’d be fixed on 15.2, that was one of my motivations in jumping in earlier than when it’s released most likely this coming week. Bummer.

This is going to be an exciting week. I'm hoping we receive a final release of iOS and macOS updates to the public. I'm guessing Tuesday, at 10:00PST, the updates are set to release?

Having the RC we already have the final versions so for us it’s not exiting when it’s released to the public
