For anyone else that updated to RC - did it take a little unusually longer to update than usual? I hit "Apple logo" boot screen 3 times prior to the update being finished. Damn near got scared of having a bricked 12PM already. Everything came out well after a while.

Yes. Had 2/3 min hold on the start of the install when you see the apple logo and progress bar. I thought it had frozen, but then a touch of white appeared, and it went quite smoothly. phew.

Yeah...mine was hanging for too long, so swiped out and restarted to get it going.

Yeah, I was just wanting to clarify that the profile was still needed and that this wasn't the general release of 15.2. I'm updating as I type this. macOS 12.1 RC, too!

Yeah sweet. Same here. been doing that since 14. Definitely seeing a good result from this. Nothing nicer than a restore after a dirty beta.
