Its not fixed
Maybe tomorrow or that’s itGuess that’s it then. No more updates this year. Should of been a fix for CarPlay and Apple Music at least! See you all next year and happy holidays!
See y'all on Jan 4th or 5th!
Merry Christmas everyone! Almost 5,000 speculation posts for this OS cycle! Very merry indeed! Warms my heart!
Present on my 12 PM. However, I’ve had a few calls where I could hear the other person fine, but they couldn’t hear me whatsoever, after I began running iOS 15.2. Hoping for a 15.2.1 so that these pesky bugs are fixed soon, but it doesn’t look likely.I’ve noticed since updating to a iPhone 13 pro max, that phone noise cancelation is missing in iOS. Phone calls are trash especially on speaker phone to the point a little breeze or wind distorts the call. All the way up to the latest iOS 15.3 beta 1 version. No one, even apple seems to have answers lol. Anyone experiencing it too ?

Missing in my 13 Pro Max as well. Also I just checked my old 11 Pro Max and it does show up there.I’ve noticed since updating to a iPhone 13 pro max, that phone noise cancelation is missing in iOS. True, but the two issues we discussed in the posts (the non existence of phone noise cancellation & my calling issues) are both pretty discrete bugs, as you put it, especially since it’s not affecting everyone.Just a general observation: the amount of faith placed on these x.x.1 updates to fix all the bugs is amazing. Those minor updates usually fix some discrete thing that didn’t quite work out in the point release.
Have you tried a hard reboot or reinstalling or “updating” over itself? Download the .ipsw file and Option + click on Update, then manually browse to the .ipsw file and it should just install iOS 15.2 over itself and keep everything in place.I’ve noticed since updating to a iPhone 13 pro max, that phone noise cancelation is missing in iOS. Fact is, these tiny things break the overall experience, and back in the day x.x.1 used to address most issues users used to have after a major update. This simply hasn’t been the case over the past 2 years, and unfortunately, Apple really doesn’t care about addressing bugs, even those that are somewhat widespread.
Yes, have tried a fresh dfu restore every public release and set up without a backup, still missing. Seems to be only on the 13 series of devices. Very frustrating that the noise cancelation isn’t working like before. My Wife’s 11 pro max has the toggle and calls sound way better. On my 13 pro max, If the bottom mic near the lightening port is slightly covered or there is the slightest noise in the background , it disrupts the whole call on speaker phone where as before noise cancelation would kick in and switch to either the front top mic or back mic to enhance the call. Have reported it in feedback since 15.1 beta 1 with no answers. I love the phone especially how far they’ve come with the battery optimizations. But call quality has definitely taken a downgrade sadly. Hope they can fix it some day.Have you tried a hard reboot or reinstalling or “updating” over itself? FWIW I don’t have this issue on my iPhone 12 Pro
Have gone to settings > focus. This where the new do not disturb settings are?
Dang! That’s a very informative calendar. Apple’s software team has been busy every month.
All releases in 2021
It also goes to show how far back they’re still supporting iOS. Even if they’re just “security & bug fixes”, it’s still helping to keep some pretty old iDevices chugging along.Dang! That’s a very informative calendar. Apple’s software team has been busy every month.
