Got to be a big week next week. I’m thinking 15.2.1 and beta 2. 15.2 is an horrendous update and needs sorting ASAP!
It'll be interesting to see what we actually get since Apple announced new Fitness+ features that are coming out on Monday. If I remember correctly, the last additions to Fitness+ were tied to an iOS release (15.0...don't think we've gotten anything new in Fitness+ since then), so maybe we'll end up with 15.3 on Monday. While I wouldn't say it's likely, I'd lean towards a very slight chance of it being possible.

I have the feeling that’ll be a back-end update and not something necessarily reliant on a software update. Or perhaps it’ll arrive with 15.2.x?

AFAIK most (but not all) new Fitness+ features are usually server-side changes and not tied to an iOS or watchOS release

  • To get the newest features, use Fitness+ with Apple Watch Series 3 or later with watchOS 8.1, paired with iPhone 6s or later with iOS 15.1; iPad with iPadOS 15.1; or Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD with tvOS 15.1.

I’ve never known such a collective desperation for a software release. Shows how bad 15.2 is!

today seems like a great day for a release of some sort.. if its beta 2 please please don’t go backwards, 15.3 beta 1 has been fine for me during Apples break..
