I’m calling 15.2.1 today and beta 2 tomorrow.
I'm torn.. I would assume that Apple's just been on holiday and hasn't been working on the betas or the official releases. No reason to assume a 15.2.1 release because Apple hasn't really been taking the many leftover issues seriously, it seems, and that HomeKit bug is pretty scary.I’m calling 15.2.1 today and beta 2 tomorrow.
It’s awful, especially CarPlay.
True Tone is still wildly inconsistent for me and has been since iOS 15.
What does it have to do with CarPlay? ??♂️
I have not noticed any issues with my (wired) CarPlay on iOS 15.2. What’s wrong with it?
Do you have "Directions on Radio" enabled?Well, since 15.0 my CarPlay with my 2021 Honda CRV Hybrid has a nav volume issue: when listening to FM radio station and Siri nav voice starts talking, it no longer lowers volume on radio. So I get to hear both things loud and it’s hard to decipher.
Exciting ? Beta 1 has been great20 minutes to go.
Given that the Apple team didn't work for nearly 2 weeks, I'd say that's unlikely. As the others have said, it will probably be the normal 10-12 build increment.
I am also in the "no 15.2.1" camp. I think there will be a quick turn on 15.3, with a release in early February (if not sooner) followed by the big kahuna: 15.4 b1, timed for a public release in late March.
No chance Apple will go without an update on Jan. My money is on 15.2.1 very soon.
To both of you: iOS 14 had 14.3 release on December 14th and then 14.4 released January 26th and nothing in between. iOS 13 went from 13.3 on 10th December to 13.3.1 on 28th January. iOS 12.4.4 on December 10th and iOS 12.4.5 on January 28th. So, you're seeing a pattern that goes against your guesses/claims....15.2 came out Dec 10th. Unless 15.3 has a small beta cycle, I can’t see Apple going almost two months with no public updates. 5 betas would put us end of Jan, early Feb.
NO BETA
And @Banglazed would have said something.Tech sites would of mentioned any release by now.
Looking like Thursday with UC. Let’s hope.
