There's no minimum number per se, but Beta 2 was a d build, so it's unlikely that they'd skip Beta 3 and release it.

They will likely publicly release 15.6 just before the iOS 16 public beta begins so that the public beta testers will have a stable build to revert back to.

I’m thinking RC today (or this week). New MacBook comes out next Friday and it could have macOS 12.5 installed on it which means iOS will probably come out with macOS to public release before next Friday. Total guess and probably wrong but at least sounds possible.

There’s a new build of 12.4 out for the new MacBooks.

Yes. And with b3 dropping today, I think we’re on weekly from here on out. So b4 next week and RC the week of June 27. Both 15.6 and 16.0 DP3/PB1 could be released that week or the week following the July 4th holiday (as I believe Apple is off that week)

Totally possible. Regardless of how many hours between, usually one version of an OS gets a different release day than another.
