Maybe watch this video below if you really need a confirmation. No one seems to know anything nowadays it's all based on speculation and best estimated guess. Perhaps, it is Apple. Anything is possible.

Whenever it’s been taken, iPhone events have been happening in September for the past few years anyways. There is nothing to suggest this year would be different. I’m not sure why we are getting excited over a photo which proves nothing and does not give any indication to make us think something different would happen from the usual.
I don’t watch random YouTube videos, and if that video is just someone saying that they must have filmed it cos the orofile pic was updated, then that’s not worth basing your point on.
As I stated, just cos they might have been filming the other week, doesn’t mean it’s imminent, as it could have just been the beginning of filming, which we know they do over a few weeks to a month.
tl:dr a profile does not confirm when it was taken, and for what was being filmed, or as to the timeframe for the video being released.

exactly. Plus, with all the reports of various shortages, shipping delays and whatnot for tech this year, it’s possible it’s gonna be later in September than usual.
Look at last year, the staggered release for the watch and the phones, this year could be similar.
I’m just trying to point out that nothing is certain this year, we cannot assume that it’s gonna be like iOS 13 and the iPhone 11 release style.

Perhaps we will at least get our iPhone event invites within 2 weeks to be exact.
I’ve not seen anything to indicate we’re getting anything earlier than mid September for an event, so I’m sticking with mid to late September, minimum of 3 weeks from now.
You always post ridiculous expectations and claims of things happening, which are 99% wrong….. But maybe this is a 1% time where you’re right….
though invites are usually a full 2 weeks before the event, aren’t they, and we’ve not seen them sent out yet, so it’s not looking good buddy….

They might have done, but have they got enough to ship all products at the same sort of time, or is the expectation of the chips they stole based on the staggered release like last year.
This is a speculation thread...and supposed to be fun/hopeful...except when it comes to me, who was 100% correct today. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I have no clue on that, but they needed them ASAP back in June, so I'm guessing design was finalized and production started around then.
It is fun, all mine were in a fun context. I can’t help that someone took it in a different way.

Last year, there were rumours that the iPhone 12 will be delayed pretty much from the spring onwards. This year there is nothing to suggest such development. There will be an event in September, that’s certain. If it’s going to be during the second or the third week doesn’t really change anything.
