expecting stability out of the initial iOS 17 builds is naive at best. Maybe by the time the 1st public beta drops...

But you won't leave iOS... anyone who was gonna leave iOS would've already left iOS.
No one should expect any kind of stability out of betas lol.
People are leaving iOS at any given moment, saying everyone that is going to leave iOS has already left, is pretty comical.

Dynamic Island being stuck on the right side of the screen, wifi/cellular constantly disconnecting, face ID glitching and not working when unlocking the phone or using apple pay, etc.

What phone you on?

Not experienced any of that. 14Pro.

Also, have you tried reinstalling the iOS and or done a restore?

You can also set up as new phone to test and make sure it’s not something in your back up?

14 Pro Max. Did a clean install and it fixed my face ID and DI glitch, but no luck on the cellular/Wi-Fi front.

And I’m going to guess that you are on an island of one experiencing these issues. More likely it’s your setup or bad hardware.

So I’m cutting the grass on my rider with my 14 PM in my pocket. All of a sudden I feel it vibrating. My phone auto dialed 911 and I guess some I didn’t talk, they called me back. Second time this happened. I was able to stop from notifying my emergency contacts though. Last time I wasn’t able to.

How tight are your shorts?!

I had a similar situation recently but it was my niece mashing buttons while I was distracted.

See this occasionally on my AW Ultra. To the point I now take it off when doing heavy work or lawn work of any type.
pita.

Can anyone confirm that your announced notifications while wearing airpods works correctly? I had to downgrade from beta 1 to 16.5 because when I was wearing airpods and a notification came in while I was listening to music, the music would go to 90% volume for the duration of the notification, and the notification wouldn't be announced. Nasty bug

It’s fixed for me on the 14PM and AirPods Pro 2

I am surprised to see that a slightly lower version of the modem is still used in this second beta than the one in 16.5 on my 13 Pro
This downgrade on the modem is definitely noticeable on my 14PM. It takes forever to load on 5GUC now. Sometimes I see full bars but it's still struggling to load. The last modem update on beta 1 was much faster/stable for me.

*edit* beta 2 pushed a MagSafe charger update for me, thought it was a new update but nope. 258.0.0.0

Didn’t realise 258 came out, have been using the MagSafe charger daily, last week I was on 255.0.0.0

Australia carrier Telstra is version 54.0.1
I think unchanged since beta 1
First post needs updating

My 13 did this to me once. That was enough, I disabled the feature.
