Hahaha oops I jinxed it 😬
I used to be one of the first to jump on but at least one release rendered my device virtually unusable and I no longer have a sacrificial device to risk. The downgrade process while somewhat easier now can still be quite problematic, and a previous experience doing that was not as smooth as I hoped for. I now sit them out until the complaints begin to diminish, however long that takes, you know…around August😉

Like you, I used to always jump on day 1 releases of betas so I could be the first to experience the new stuff, luckily I never encountered terrible bugs that rendered my device useless, but I think I’m gonna sit this one out until later. Maybe my intrusive thoughts will end up getting the best of me 🤣

With 17 out in dev beta, I noticed I no longer have any option to install betas on iOS. I am on 16.6 beta 2. (I was on developer beta, but do not have a paid dev account only free)

Hoping they get that sorted and leave the public beta active for ios16? so maybe total removal just a glitch.

If not no big deal, 16.6 will GA in the coming weeks….

I had to disable Automatic Updates to get my beta options to reappear. I enabled auto afterwards.

This is by far the worst beta release in this cycle. I was kicked out of family and can’t get in. Apple say that’s to be expected. Since it’s a beta they refused support. Lost access to iCloud Drive and now I only have 5 GB. On top of this, they deleted all my files in the drive. Then I have Bluetooth issues, location issues, battery issues. Not sure what happened, Apple…

iOS 16.6 beta 2 is really good on iPhone 12 mini! 👍

So imagine you updated your 13P from 16.5 with 8h of SOT to 16.6b2 because you hoped the battery will get to 9h SOT, just like 16.4 was able to reach. And this is what you get on 16.6b2. Just imagine 😮‍💨

It’s a beta. And you should just revert back to 16.5.

Can anyone check if Airplay is enabled again when an external screen is connected?
There's a nasty error message preventing you from using AirPlay whenever you have an external screen or CarPlay connected to the iPhone.

i just encountered bug with Lock Screen. It shows “1 notification” after the display is turned on, but after tapping the notification message it displays nothing.
