Since I updated I have a problem. Many notifications (especially those from third parties) do not vibrate. When I receive a notification it does not vibrate (it happens with some apps). The same thing happens on the Apple Watch. I have vibration mode set to sound. The screen also doesn't turn on when I receive the notification. They are silent notifications.
I'm experiencing the same thing too. I upgraded a 13 pro to iOS 17, and it was fine from what I recall. Now on my new 15 PM, I'm getting very inconsistent notification haptics/sounds. Even when the phone is unlocked the banners show up inconsistently, and the vibrations are inconsistent as well.

Edit - StandBy made it through the night. 10/4-5/23 PDT
StandBy quit working during the night on my 14 Pro - pressing the side button woke up the phone, but I had to remove the phone from the charger and replace it to restart StandBy.
Is your Standby still turning itself off by the time you wake up?

So far the only crashes have been in Safari but only when typing in some text, none otherwise. I have not yet experienced a crash in Mail but I don’t often type out an email. In Safari often after coming back to the page I was on when it crashed, I can reload the page and my text will re-appear. But on some sites I have to log back in to get back to that page and then the text I had typed is completely gone.
This issue appears to be fixed in the latest beta—iPadOS 17.1 (21B5066a). No crashes since installing it.

The ProMotion game stuttering on touch bug is still present, everyone, please report, can’t believe we’ve been having this for over a year now :(

For demonstration check out below video at 12:47.
Has this garbage of a bug been fixed in newest betas yet?

I haven't even updated from 16, I bought 2 M2 iPads specifically for gaming only to run into this ugly freaking issue that makes games run worse than any fixed framerate screen on the planet.

It literally doesn't even matter what game it is - 120 FPS which runs somewhat smoothly isn't actually playable in 99% of demanding games due to how much that overheats. But 60 FPS is completely unplayable ever since iOS 16 came out and Apple dropped the ball with this. I'm making do by limiting the iPads to 60 FPS in Settings but even that isn't actually native 60 and it shows.

EDIT: I just checked your video and 12:47 isn't displaying the ProMotion issue, that's just Genshin being unoptimized for the new chip and will be fixed. But the ProMotion bug is there and never goes away, it's painful on the eyes in whichever game is played at 60.

There's a thread now on 17.1RC...
