13 Mini. Battery life is vastly improved on this release. And I have yet to experience any choppy/stuttering since updating, even 30 minutes after install & app. updates completed.

Scared to turn on Stolen Device Protection since it just got introduced. Apple, how about no new features for the rest of iOS 17 & just work on polishing until next September? Yes?

Welp, I just learnt that even GTA San Andreas stutters on ProMotion iPhones whenever the screen is touched. Works fine with controller…

Anyone else having issues with syncing with computer? It does not work most of the time, even when it succeeds it doesn’t seem to copy anything.

Also, iMazing can’t read the logs directory since iOS 17.2 RC via cable, only via WiFi.
Strange.
Could someone else pls check? I tried with a Mac.

In the previous betas, it seems to sync only when you disconnect the Apple Watch. Do you have watch?

I noticed mine wouldn't sync if I had the 80% charge limit set and the battery was already at 80%. Seems the phone "turns off" the USB-C port to prevent charging so it doesn't stay connected.

I have to change that setting to either "none" or "optimized" and the connection is then stable and syncing proceeds as normal.

Not all that efficient, but I suppose that is how they chose to implement that feature.

Oh, I just have the very slightest of feelings that a beta 1 may have some bugs. Call me crazy like, but something tells me that developers don’t get to release stability this early.
The lack of problems being reported in this thread suggests it is a good release. Additionally my iPhone and Watch have been on this release for a day and a half without issue. iPhone seems even smoother than on 17.2.

I just got an account recovery method needed pop up. I already have this setup and a recovery contact. Seems to be erroring out when I add a contact or try to add my recovery key.

Also, I hate how I can’t make the badge disappear on my settings. Anyone else seeing this?
