iOS 17.4 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Anyone notice on the 17.4 betas that safari keeps retaining old iCloud pages between iPad and iPhone. When I open safari on either it will show a website, at the bottom of the start page, as being open on the other device when it isn’t. It also seems the site it shows was a day or so old, not the most recent I was viewing on that device. I can choose to close the page it says is open but it come back again. No tabs are open on either device too.
Yeah it’s broken, it doesn’t have the animation when it goes from AOD to normal either.

iPhone 15 pro max modem firmware 1.55.04 stronger signal (carrier 58.0).
Battery much better as of 3 hours of use.
Chrome search box back to normal.

Since iOS 17.4 Beta 2 and now Beta 3, I have been experiencing one nagging issue. I have a Shared Tag (shared with me by a family member) and its location will show up fine when I open the Find My app. The Widget for this shared Tag, however, only display’s ”No Location Found”. Clicking on the widget will open the Find My app and show the location perfectly. The issue is with the Widget that should display the Shared with me Tag and it doesn’t. Anyone else?

- Couple of apps have badges showing unread/viewed items when everything was complete

- Widget for Stocks app is displaying the wrong stocks
- killing widget and adding it back fixed it

A shared airtag (by a family member) is missing (zero shared items) on my iPhone (17.4b2/3) but shows on my iPad (17.3).
Yet I received multiple notifications that a family member wants to share it. But they did that a year ago.
Reported bug via feedback.

No. Most of your stuff is probably backed up in the cloud. But, stuff like some of your Apple Watch achievements and some health data may be at risk if you didn’t do an archived backup before you moved into 17.4.
But you did do an archived backup, didn’t you?
P.S. If you need to ask a question like this, you may want to reconsider participating in betas.
In Beta 2, my Mom’s iPad stopped showing up on Find My app. I checked on that iPad but it was still sharing it’s location but not showing up on my iPhone. Next day, my iPhone stopped showing up on my Wife’s iPhone in a crowded market when we wanted to meet up at a place. So the feature didn’t work when we needed it the most. I had to remove re-add my iPhone (15 PM) again and share my location. Is this some bug or unexpected feature?
It’s a bug. A bug in a beta. Betas have lots of bugs - this one will get fixed prior to release as FindMy is a core feature.
My advice to avoid bugs like this is to NOT install a beta on your everyday phone. You need a spare device used only for beta testing. Otherwise you’re making difficulties for yourself, just like you seem to be doing.
