God this is really frustrating bug in apple music how Home tab gets stuck and doesnt update. Its been stuck for like 2 weeks now. Ive tried everything to fix it but it stays stuck and doesnt update.

- Uninstalled and reinstalled
- Logged out and back in 5 times
- Turned off/on sync library
- Turned off/on iCloud
- Tried to use cellular instead of wifi
- Force restarted my phone

Browsing reddit and found people having same issues, also on android. I reported this to apple too.

Just seeing this on my iPad Pro. So far not happening on the iPhone (fingers crossed / knock on wood)

The selected word floating menu will randomly pop up not go away even though there is nothing selected.

Only closing the tab will get rid of it. Reloading sometimes will get rid of it.

When you install some apps (as well as after major updates) the app will ask if you will allow the app to search for and connect to devices on your network… do you allow this or tell it “no”? This could be an app discovering a device and attempting to connect to it.

I run pretty much stock except for Reddit, Discord and YouTube.

Now getting “auto” Live Updates on baseball spring training games (and the accompanying Dynamic Island treatment).

I like it!

I allow for things like streaming apps so I can resume on another device should I need to move.

Has anyone been experiencing slow connections or inability to connect on sites that previously have not presented problems? I’m on 17.4 developer beta 4 and my connections on my iPhone 15 pro max seem to be as fast as ever, as far as I can tell, but for some odd reason I can’t seem to connect to fast.com, but instead get messages after some time trying to connect that I can’t reach their servers, whereas on previous betas I had no problem with this site at all. Very odd.

No idea what that website is so no way am I clicking on your link.

He didn’t include a link.
There is a link in the email that macrumors sent me. Check yours if you don’t believe me. Presumably the forum software removed it later since I seem to remember posting links to external sites is not supposed to be allowed. i have edited my post to add the attachment.

Just saying if someone wants help they need to provide more information. Do you click on random links in emails?

I believe you, I just thought it was weird that you were talking about a link that wasn’t in the comment. I don’t use email notifications, so I don’t know how that works. I use push notifications.

How does that help? Why do you feel the need to state you’re not going to do something?

That’s because there is no link. There is a partial URL that will not link to anything unless the users email software renders it that way.

So the fault is not that of the person who posted but rather the email service that created a link where none was intended.

There’s plenty of posts with links to external sites. I got the email, too. Not sure what it is, but I’m having no issues…

That is the speedtest provided by Netflix for anyone who is not aware. Been around for a long time. Anyway perhaps they were down for a while is why the OP was getting that message. Doubtful it has anything to do with the beta but who knows.

Have a couple of apps that run slow with B4 but so far everything via Safari is running pretty much okay.

This thing you are describing sounds familiar to me. Do you have enabled "Private relay", "Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection" or "Prevent Cross-site Tracking" turned on? They can be found in:

Settings --> Apple ID --> Private relay
Settings --> Safari --> Prevent Cros-site Tracking
Settings --> Safari --> Advanced --> Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection

Just try to play with it, switch them on/off one by one and try to reload the website.
They are all good things to have turned on, but sometimes they can cause issues

This is just the OS (or the mail app) recognizing fast.com as a link and formatting in it accordingly! If you type fast.com on Messages and send it to yourself, you'll get the same results.

What I don’t understand is that in my copy of Beta 4 the change of device from Headphones to Other or Speaker is not in Sounds and Haptics, it is in Bluetooth Settings against the device in the (i) details.
Regarding the other questioner, getting the headphone symbol when headphones are ”stashed away” can be a random Bluetooth speaker in the room that you didn’t know was turned on. I have run down many a battery that way which is why I always force close any streaming app after use.

The problem that I reported has resolved itself. Maybe the problem was on their end. Anyway, you can disregard my report
